I have a classmate named Angel, who is a lovely and bright girl. She is popular from all the classmates. One day, news came as Angel had got blood cancer. It really shocked everybody. When I saw her in the hospital, I could not help cry. She was very thin and weak that it seemed only skin and bones were left. But her face was so pale, she gave us a big smile to comfort us. All the classmates and teachers began to raise money. Some called media for help. In the end, I succeeded in raising the money for the first operation. We will keep trying until Angel was cured. Many people offered as more help as they could even though they did not know Angel. I am really touched by this. There is love in everywhere as long as we seek for it.

A foreign student graduated with honors from a finely university in Germany. He expected to find a good job and have a bright future. But in his disappointment, he wasn't even giving the chance for an interview! The third time he was refused, he phoned the company to ask how. "We don't employ dishonest people in Germany" is the answer. What was wrong? Shortly before he arrived in Germany, he found easy to steal subway rides. But he often rode without a ticket and was caught up three times. Now he had to pay a high price for his own behavior. We should all keep in minds: honesty is the best policy.

When I walked into the classroom, the teacher was handing in the tests. I was feeling very nervous. I had not studied at all the weekend as I had thought it would be easy test.

Cars are everywhere. In big city and small towns, the preferred method of transportation is the automobile. People can get to where they need to go quickly and easy, and it has given a new kind of freedom to many people who may not have experienced it ago. But is driving really the best thing for our society? I argue that it is not. First, pollution was a serious problem, and more cars only make them worse. There is just not way to reduce pollution without decrease the number of cars on the road. Second, cars are very dangerous. Traffic accidents are responsible tens of thousands of deaths every year. Finally, cars are so expensive for most people to afford. However, that doesn’t stop low-income families from spending the most of their money to pay for the family car.
