As students, all of us will be faced a problem after passed the college entrance examination. Should we choose a good major and a good university first? Here are some different ideas. Some more prefer to choose a major first so they can learn that they are interested in. In this way they can put their hearts into study and got their favorite jobs in the future. Other believe that the environment is important to one’s develop and that graduates from key universities are more likely to find good jobs. As long as I’m concerned, the best choice is a good university if we can’t obtain all.

The news which the English Entrance Examination will be reformed has caused a big “earthquake” in our country. Many people, included students, are for it. But there are also some people are against it. Then, is it better to do so or not? Personally, I think the reform has between advantages and disadvantages. On the other hand, it will cause students to spend less time on studying English and to attached less importance to English. If so, students will not have a good knowledge of English. It is reported that thirty cellphones taken away by teachers during the examination and were smashed (销毁) in front of students and parents at a high school. As to this, we hold a heated discussion. There are two different viewpoints about them.
Some think it necessarily. Firstly, with cellphones, students would have focused their attention on studying instead of wasting their precious time reading junk message. Secondly, the examination will be fair if no one cheats using cellphones. However, the others think it otherwise. For one thing, at the age of information, cellphones have become a necessity. For another, students can use cellphones for study.
Personally spoken, even if some students use cellphones for no good reason, we should educate them more than destroy cellphones in such an extreme way.

One year ago,I had a special English lesson hold at the railway station. It was quite different from the regular English classes we were familiar to, for we had no textbooks, no blackboard or no fixed seats.
Gathering at the entrance of the station, we told to collect as many English words and sentences as possible here. Curious and excited, we walked around the station and looked everywhere, search for any information in English. Whenever an English word comes into sight, the class would burst into the cheers as if we had discovered a new world. With the Chinese translation and vividly pictures, we could figure out its meaning with ease.
Now, this unforgettable lesson still encourages me to be an active learner where I go.

Recently our local government has decided to broaden a narrow road and there is a temple of over 100 years old along a road. Whether the temple should pulled down have caused a heated discussion.
Some agree that we should pull it down to carrying out the construction project because it can solve some traffic problem and make our life convenient. Beside, it helps improve the image of our city. But the people who are for the idea believe that we can have another one solution. How should we pull it down? The temple has a long history and tells us something of our city. We can move it away and keep it as long as we like.

Recently, smog weather has became more and more serious in parts of China. People forced to wear masks to avoid breathe poisonous air. To settle this problem, the series of measures should be taken. First, we should enact(颁布) more strict law on environmental protection to regulate the industrial punish those factories what ignore the protection. Second, we should develop environmentally-friendly products to improve air quality. Besides, people should build up protection awareness to form a habit by using green products or saving energy. In my opinion, if we all act together, their environment will become more better.
