Tom is a senior two students who devotes himself to his lessons every day. Last Saturday, as usual, he went to several courses. In the evening, he studies at home until deep into the night. He was too sleepy and tired that he couldn’t work effectively. In Sunday morning, Tom was about to study when his father came up and advised him to have break. Soon they had a good idea. They bought a kite which they liked it very much and then the family went to the suburbs where Tom enjoyed fly the kite himself. The family had a picnic together but felt very relaxed in the open air. On Monday, Tom was energetic and actively in class. He said it was only why he had a better weekend.

Like most of my schoolmates, I had neither brothers nor sisters --- in any other words, I am an only child. My parents love me deep of course and will do all they can make sure that I get a good education. They do not want me to do any housework at home, they want me to devote all my time to do my studies so that I’ll get good marks in all my subject. We are one family and live under a same roof, but we do not seem to get many time to talk with each other. It looks as if my parents treated me as a visitor or a guest. One day, Henry Adams, the American businessman , was lost in London. He didn’t know what to do when two old and wealthy brother met him. They found that Henry arrived London by accident and he had no money. They gave him a letter and told him to open it until two o’clock. Before long, Henry , who was in rags, went into a restaurant .He ate as a wolf. In two o’clock, when he opened the letter, he was surprising but the waiter and the owner was shocked. I have been having problems with my parent these days because they always expect me do better even though I am a very good student in my class. They care too many about the exams but often ask my teachers about my grades. When I get the second place or the third one in test, they keep asking me,“Why ? You should be carefully next time.” So I begin to fear the exams. I don’t want to take part in some exams now .Now it hurt me to see them acting in this way. I think no matter how harder I try, it never seems to be enough .Am I wrong ? Now I don’t know that what I should do.
