Last weekend we went mountain-climbing．Even the heavy rain in the morning could not prevent us go. Setting off very early, we went along an extreme narrow road, all in high spirits. On every side of the road were green fields and some farm house．We could hear the sound of the rain and our footsteps mixing with our laughter．At noon we reached top of the mountain．That surprised us most was the beauty of the scenes there．After having a short rest and sharing with the food we had brought, we started going down．It rained even harder．We are wet to the skin, and we still sang and laughed happily．
I spent most of my summer holidays travel in London. I arrived there in middle of July. After reaching my sister’s apartment I got many sleep. The next day I went to St Paul’s Cathedral, an amazing monument, that was well worth a visit. After take some photos in front of it, I moved on to the Tate Modern art gallery. There is an excellent exhibition of oil paintings and sculptures by some famous British artist. For dinner we went to the Ivy, a very beautifully restaurant. The food was good but the atmosphere was nice. It was a great day of sightseeing and one that would never be forgotten it.
I had a interesting dream last night. I dreamedthat I took part in a race. At first, I could not to run very fast and fell behind. So I didn’t lose heart and keptrunning. All the students on the playground cheer me on, “ Come on!” I was so encouraging that I ran faster and fast till I caught up all the other runners. I felt as if flying like a superman. In the end, I got to the finishing line first.I won the race. I felt very proudly of myself. Many of my classmate threw me up into the air. Just at that timeI woke up and found me still in bed!

How nice to hear you again. You want to know that is going on in schools in China? In short, thing have begun to improve from schools were called on to reduce learning load. I don’t know about others, but I used to have to work even at weekends doing endlessly homework and attending classes as well as. Now I have more free time. I can follow your own interests such as reading books, visit museums, and taking computer lessons. In the evening I could watch news on TV or read newspapers. What’s more, I can go to bed earlier. As far as I know, everyone is happy about this new arrange of things.

This morning I found red wallet on the campus. Girls usual like red, so I believed the wallet was belonged to a girl student. I opened it, try to find out whose it was. Therefore, I found nothing but 300 yuan in it. I was wondering what to do with it while suddenly my classmates Chen Yang passed by. She suggested she put up a Lost and Found notice and I did so. I wrote down my telephone number and ask the owner to call me after she saw it. Later, a girl came to claim it on 3 o’clock this afternoon.
The winter holiday, when I am looking forward to, is coming. What fun it is to have sports! Play football is one of my hobby. I can also ride my bicycle, climb high mountains, or go skating. Sometime I can play the chess with Grandfather. How interested my holiday will be! But my father is always afraid I would be hurt by a truck, fall into water, and fall off a tree. He is afraid I would fight against others or taken away by bad men. But if I’m friendly and carefully enough, how will these things happen? I must try best to persuade my father.
