Once a king asked an artist to paint a picture for him. He told the artist he didn’t want to any shadows in the picture, just sunshine, but the artist did so. I can’t swim so I have a strong fear of water. Look back at my childhood, I think that three reasons might explain fear. Firstly, I am not allowed to go near the water when I was a child, as my mother had an unreasonable fear of it. Therefore, I was taught to see to the water as something danger. A lecture on “English learning” was held on an afternoon of last Friday in our school. The lecture giving by a professor from Peking University lasts from 2:00 to 4:00.
