So my first week at college is over! No lectures this morning so I think I'd email you and let you know what things are going.
I'm glad to say that anything has worked out fine in the dorm.I remember asking for a room as far away from the lifts as possible and they find me a comfortable one on second floor. There are two girls from my course here and I plan to make friend with them so that we can help each other on the course work. Everyone else seems very nice and warmly here. As far as I can remember, grow up in Ohio left many good memories and very few bad ones．We rented a home near a lake where I spent good time of my life．I attended to school to learn a variety of course，and went camping overnight in the woods．My dog and I would go fishing in the lake that I mentioned early．During the winter we will come down at night and go ice-skating on the lake．In Ohio the snow could be heavily sometimes and too deep to walk in as I was not that tall at the time．It was not until I was sixteen and moved to California when the life was changed．This was a tough change for me because the area total differed from Ohio．There was no rivers or lakes to fish in at all．

Nowadays, many people complain to their poor achievements in study. Some are eager to know others’ secrets to succeed, thinking that they should have mastered some specially ability in study. It is two month since we entered our junior middle school. This afternoon, we had class meeting in our classroom. All the students, together with our teachers, take part in it.
At the meeting, we held on a heated discussion about our future study. Each of them spoke at the meeting active. Besides, we also showed our sincere thanks to our teachers, which helped us a lot in study and life. The teachers hoped what we could still study hard in the future. After the discussion, we all decided to study hard as usual but hoped that we all could do well in the approached middle-term exam.
