Do your parents make you do lots of after-school activities? My parents did. I used to listen to them. But now, I decide to think for .
My parents made me do a lot of after-school activities: taking guitar lessons, taking class, playing tennis and doing different kinds of other things.
I didn’t like many of them. I often asked my parents to stop me.
This year, I will stop some activities. I decide to the guitar because I don’t like to play it at all. I think I can learn English by myself at home I won’t go to the English class any more
My mother doesn’t think that I get enough . But I don’t think so.I walk two miles to school every day. I think that is for me. So I don’t want to play tennis.
One day, my mother me to go to a swimming club, but I refused. She was and said,“The more you study, the more skills you will have, and then the more independent you will be.” she’s right, but I really don’t want to go.

My earliest memory of dad is grabbing (抓住) his hand while we walked together. As I older, I remembered my father and I listened to many basketball games on the radio. I always fell asleep the game was over. When I woke up in the morning, the score sheet (计分表) with the score on it would be lying next to me. I’ll always remember that.
On cold mornings my father would drive his bread truck by the house. I used to ride on the floor of that bread truck as he delivered (分送) the bread to the stores. The and the warmth from the bread made me hungry and kept me warm. I’ll always remember that.
My father would attend all my games. One night before an important game my father told me that he wouldn’t be able to watch the game because he had to deliver the bread and it was a three-hour from his route. The next day as the game time drew near, I thought about my dad. I happened to look across the field and saw his bread truck pulling into the stadium. He tried to make the game. I’ll always remember that.
Years later I became a teacher. I’ll never forget the voice on the phone early one morning telling me dad had just been killed in a traffic accident. I could hear my heart beat in my ears. I up the phone and went back to my bedroom. After that nothing was very important to me. One day I was on the playground when a little boy walked up to me and grabbed my hand. His hand held mine the way I used to hold my father’s by the last two fingers. At that moment I found my in life again. You see even though my father was gone, he left something with me. He left me his smile, spirit and touch. My purpose was to use those gifts as he did. From that day I started. I’ll always remember that!

Dear Ace Travel,
My family and I want to take a trip this summer somewhere in eastern China. I hope you can provide me with some about the kinds of vocations that your firm can offer. We would like to travel to an place and we don’t mind how far we have to go. It has to be a place where we can do lots of activities; we especially love hiking and swimming, but any kind of outdoor activity is fine. We also need to stay in an hotel or apartment. It would be nice if we could get a room with a kitchen so we could save money by cooking our own meals. The room needs to be for three people. Also, we’d like to stay at a place with a big pool or somewhere near the ocean. Could you please give me some suggestions for vacation spots?
Thank you very much!
S. T. Zhang

Jane Austen, a famous English writer, was born at Steventon, Hampshire, on December 16, 1775, and died on July 18, 1817. She began writing early in life, although the prejudices(偏见) of her times forced her to have her books published anonymously (匿名).
But Jane Austen is perhaps the best known and best loved of Bath's many famous local people and visitors. She paid two long visits here during the last five years of the eighteenth century and from 1801 to 1806, Bath was her home. Her deep knowledge of the city is fully seen in two of her novels, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion, which are largely set in Bath. The city is still very much as Jane Austen knew it, keeping in its streets and public buildings the well-ordered world that she described so well in her novels. Now the pleasure of learning Jane Austen's Bath can be enhanced (增强)by visiting the Jane Austen Centre in Gay Street. Here, in a Georgian town house in the heart of the city, you can find out more about Bath in Jane Austen's time and the importance of Bath in her life and work.
The Centre has been set up with the help and guidance of members of the Jane Austen Society. After your visit to the Centre, you can look round the attractive shop, which offers a huge collection of Jane Austen related(相关的) books, cards and many specially designed gifts. Jane Austen quizzes are offered to keep the children busy.
You can also have walking tours of Jane Austen's Bath, which is a great way to find out more about Jane Austen and discover the wonderful Georgian city of Bath. The tour lasts about one and a half hours. The experienced guides will take you to the places where Jane lived, walked and shopped.
