Many people would like to watch sport matches. First, you need to know about audience manners.
Most sporting arenas(竞技场)have rules for audience written on the back of the tickets. Read your ticket carefully before you arrive. Try to reach your seat half an hour before the start of the event and don’t leave when a game is in progress. When you leave, remember to take away your soft drink bottles and other rubbish.
During exciting games, try to control yourself. Don’t criticize the performance of players and coaches. Be careful with your words, since some may cause anger among other people in the audience.
Clapping is a special form of body language you can use to communicate with players, but you should do it properly. When players first appear, clap your hands together to welcome them, but don’t go on for too long. After an excellent performance, clap warmly. If someone fails, your clapping will help encourage them.
Clapping is not welcome, however, while players need to keep their attention. Various sports have various rules for the audience.
Enjoying artistic gymnastics silence. But lots of cheering can really help basketball and football players. When you watch snooker and table tennis matches, flash photography is not allowed. Mobile phones are not allowed in shooting centers.
To be a good audience, you should take time to learn the game—particular rules and related culture of each event.

Dear David,
How are you? I’m fine. I’m in London, at the International School of English. I’m in Class 3 with other eight students. They’re from different countries—Spain, Japan, Argentina, Switzerland and Thailand. Our teacher’s name is Henry Briscall. He’s very nice. He’s a very good teacher.
I’m living with an English family. Mr and Mrs Smith have three children. Thomas is fourteen, Catherine is twelve and Andrew is seven. They are all very friendly, but it isn’t easy to understand them. London is very big and very interesting. It is cool but sunny, and the parks are beautiful! Hyde Park, Green Park and St. James’ Park are all in the city centre.
English food is OK, but the coffee is bad!
Write to me soon.
Love,

Here is something about the America students. In America each student works as hard as he or she wants in high school. If they don’t work hard enough to get good grades, they will not pass. If they fail, they may not get into the college(大学)they want to. However(然而), in high school you have more time to do things than in college. Many students take part in hobby groups. Other students go in for sports such as football, baseball or basketball. Nearly(几乎)all high schools have sports teams. Also students usually get their first job when they are in high school, though(尽管) the jobs aren’t very good. For example, a lot of students work at fast-food restaurants. In American high schools, fashion(时尚)seems very important. If you don’t have the newest and coolest clothes as those children who certainly already have them, they will think you are not cool.Is fashion important in American high schools?
