Will you put other’s needs before your own? What will you get if you do?Here is an experience of mine.
It was a wet day and I had a time. I was busy and everyone I talked to was in a bad mood. What’s more,I went out without breakfast and I left my at home. So I couldn’t get lunch and was terribly hungry.
When I finshed my work,I to ask my wife to meet me at the door with some money so that I could quickly go to buy .Then I quickly made my way home in hope of eating my meal of the day at 5:00 p.m.
As I was halfway home,my wife told me by phone that a friend of ours was in and needed a lift(搭便车)home. My mind said,“I will get him I get the meal.”But my mouth said,“All right,I’ll give him a .”
He jumped in the car with a smile on his face and repeated how he was that I would drive him home. He told me he usually walked home from his company but that day the stopped him from making that journey.
Traffic was a . A drive to him normally took 10 minutes but that day it took 30 minutes.
Now you would guess the person that I was helping is a friend of mine. But,in fact,he is a friend of a friend.
I wonder if I will ever see this person again but I feel glad I was there when he me.
So you will feel yourself helpful and useful when you 15 more about others.

Crabs(螃蟹) are very interesting creatures. If you put several of them in a bucket, the moment one of them starts crawling out, the other crabs will pull him back down. So none of the crabs ever in getting out. They just keep stopping each other from climbing higher than the rest of them. We humans are more like crabs than we think. We try to get even with our enemies, and ahead of our . But we have to realize that "when we're green with envy(嫉妒 ) , we're also ripe for problems".
Whether we admit it or not, most of us want other people to be just a little less successful than we are. Friends are always about your success, as long as you're not more successful than they are ! But one of the first secrets to success is not to compare your life with others. It's strange that many of us seem to know to live everybody else's lives but our own. Even though what happens in someone else's life has to do with ours.
Successful people look at life through a telescope and see how great it can be, jealous people look at life through a microscope and only see the faults and mistakes of others. Being jealous of others is just a slow way of suicide (自杀) that will both your health and happiness.
You have a special and personality that no one else has. So use yours the best way possible. Stop comparing yourself with others. Birds don't . Pigs don't climb trees. And crabs don't fly. Enjoy your own natural abilities and develop your own style.
