We students enjoy our school life. But sometimes we feel unhappy. It’s every student’s bad dream: 1time. During the last three days of every term, we six exams.
Last week I finished my end-of-year exam. The exam to me was Maths. All of its questions were from earlier exams. So I finished it soon. The biology exam was hard. At first, I thought I would it. It asked about lots of things we never studied in class, though we could textbooks. And there wasn’t enough time to check every question. I guess at many of them. But my teacher said I did well in it.
In the Computer exam, we had a lot to do. I I needed more time, but some of my classmates didn’t think so. They just wrote down the answers and then played games. I didn’t think I could get a good score in the English exam. We had to an article about the books we had read in class. But I didn’t study English hard enough.
At our school, we can “test out(免修)”of some .That means students can study by themselves and then take the exam. If they pass, they don’t have to that class. I tested out of both Art and Health classes.
Studying for those exams was hard. Those classes would last for six months, but I had to review(复习) everything in three weeks. I’m so glad it’s all over. Now it’s the summer holiday and I can enjoy it.

When I was in the third grade, I was chosen to be the princess in the school play. For weeks my mother had helped me practice my lines(台词). But once on the stage, every word from my head. Then my teacher asked me to change my role to be a narrator(解说者)for the play. I didn’t tell my mother what had happened that day, she noticed my and asked if I wanted to take a walk in the garden.
It was a lovely spring day. We could see dandelions(蒲公英)popping(炸开) the grass in bunches(束). I watched my mother bend down by one of the bunches. “I think I’ll dig up(挖光)all these weeds(野草),” she said. “From now on, we’ll have roses in this garden.”
“But I like dandelions,” I protested(抗议). “All the flowers are -- even dandelions!”
My mother looked at me seriously. “Yes, every flower gives pleasure in its own way, doesn’t it?” she asked thoughtfully. I nodded. “And that is of people, too.” She added.
When I that she had guessed my pain, I started to cry and told her the truth. “But you will be a wonderful narrator,” she said, me of how much I loved to read stories aloud.
Thanks to my mother’s encouragement, I got to know everybody had his or her own in the world, I felt proud of the role in the play.

As a teenager, I am often asked what I am going to be in the future. A lawyer? A doctor? Or a scientist? No, my ideal career is to be a teacher. One of the for that is I want to be a teacher like Mr. Chen.
“Look! Do you know what it is? A-ha, it’s the ! And it will always move around the sun.” Mr. Chen said and pointed to his head. He then touched the nose and , “Can you tell me the name of this mountain? It is the highest mountain on Earth! What’s the of it? Yes, it’s 8844.43 metres…” I’ll never forget my first geography lesson. He was humorous that we all fell in love with his lessons . It’s Mr. Chen who opened the door of geography for us.
Generally speaking, most of the teachers are strict students and sometimes a little bit demanding(苛求的), not so with Mr. Chen. He is a lighthouse, showing us the way to the treasure of knowledge. He is a friend and easy to get with, always encouraging us to speak out loud without our shyness and other disadvantages. He is an example, volunteering his time to students and other teachers.
One day I happened to meet him in the hospital. Seeing the cut on his arm, I realized he was donating his . I was moved and was another lesson, a lesson of love and devotion.
Every time I see my globe(地球仪), it would me of Mr. Chen. He is the most unforgettable teacher I have met and he will always be. Someday I hope I am to be a teacher like him.
Thank you, Mr Chen, thank you for making learning not a job but a joy.
Thank you for helping me to discover what I do best and to do it even .
Thank you for understanding all of us and giving us the time and care each of us needs.

Happiness is for everyone, and you don’t need to care about those people who have beautiful houses with and swimming pools or those who have nice cars a lot of money and so on. Why? Because those who have big houses may often lonely and those who have cars may want to walk on the country roads in their free time.
In fact, happiness is always around you if you put your heart into it. When you are in at school, your friends will help you; when you study at your lessons, your parents are always good care of your life and your health; when you get , your friends will say congratulations to you; when you do something wrong, people around you will help you to it. And when you do something good to others, you will feel , too. All these are your happiness. If you notice those things, you can see that happiness is always you.
Happiness is not the same as money. It is a feeling of your heart. When you are , you can also say you are very happy because you have something else that can’t be bought with money. When you meet difficulties, you can say loudly you are very happy because you have more chances to yourself. So you cannot always say you are poor or you have bad luck. As the saying goes: Life is like a revolving(转动的)door. When it , it also opens. If you take every chance you get, you can be a happy and lucky person.
