Hello, everyone.I'm here today to tell you something about my life as an exchange student in the United States last year.America was a big culture shock for me at first.I stayed with a host family in a small town.My host parents were very kind. They organized a lot of activities for me in my free time so that I wouldn't miss home. However, life in the US was difficult to get used to.My main problem was the language.

I failed to understand much in the first few weeks because everyone spoke so fast.Another onewas the food.My host family always had bread, potatoes and salad, but I missed dumplings, rice and delicious dishes a lot, especially barbecue(烧烤).It was very famous in Qiqihar. It was an exciting year, and it was a valuable education for me.I understood more about American culture. My American friends asked me many questions about life in China, and this made me think about my own culture as well. Now I am back in China,I still remember the life in the US.Judge the following sentences true ( T ) or false ( F ) according to the passage.

(1)The writer now is in America.

(2)The host parents were very friendly.

(3)The host family always had dumplings, rice and delicious dishes.

(4)American friends'questions about life in China made the writer think about his own culture.

(5)It was very easy for the writer to get used to the life in the US.
