Anne and her family hide away for nearly twenty-five months before they were
discovered. During that time a only true friend was her diary. She set down her
feelings and thoughts to it. She became crazy about anything to do with nature. One
evening, she stayed awake on purposes in order to have a good look at the moon by
herself. Another time, he happened to be upstairs at dusk when the window was
open. It was in the first time in a year and a half that she have seen the night face to
face. Luckily, she was only able to look at nature through dirty curtains. She thought
nature was one thing that really must is experienced.
I am angry about the behavior of dishonest in exams. I’m not saying that I’m a good student and that I’ve never cheated. I once write the answers on my hand for a history test but, unluckily, caught by my teacher. Because she was one of my most favorites, there were no words to describe how sorry I felt at once. I thought cheat would help me keep my straight A’s. Little I know that I was hurting not only herself but also my teacher. From this lesson I know our teachers want their students to succeed by learning with their own and do the best they can, not by cheating.

Zhang Xiaowen, who is sixteen, a middle school student in Northern China. She is one of the best student in her class and she was won an award for young scientists last year. When sitting in the classroom she looks just like all her classmates and after class her life is obvious different. She was born without the ability to use her legs and she has no feeling below the waist. She had to use a wheelchair to get around and it often takes her a little long to do everyday things, such as getting out of bed, getting dressing and going to the school. So far she has created many programs and one of which received an award at her province’s science fair.

Like most of my schoolmates, I have neither brothers nor sisters—on other words, I am an only child. My parents love me dearly of course and will do all they can make sure that I get a good education. They did not want me to do any work at family; they want me to devote all my time on my studies so that I’ll get good marks in all my subject. We may be one family and live under a same roof, but we do not seem to get much time to talk about together. It looks as if my parents treat me as a visitor and a guest. Do they really understand their own daughter? What things are in other homes, I wonder.
In my village a lot of children have left school for many differentreason. Some families are so poor to send their children to school, so their kids have to earn money to support their families. There are also many parents do not think it useless to send their children to school. They prefer to have their children do something else rather than to let them go to school. I feel worried this. I think every children should have the opportunity to receive education. And it is necessary of us to care about the children, because one day they will play important part in the construction of our country. So ways must be found to prevent children from leave off their studies.

I still remember my middle school life in Yibin. I was then in a school for student fromother places. As we were all left home at an early age, we meet lots of problems in our daily life. We had to do the washing, cleaning but shopping by us. However, we seldom felt lonely or helpless. We enjoyed our happy life. At weekends, we would play basketball on playground, swim in the pool or going for a picnic in the park. We were living in a bigger family. We treated each other as brothers and sisters. It has been one year when we graduated, but thosememories are as sweetly as ever before.
