I often dream of being a teacher. I dream of standing in the platform in the classroom and give lessons to lovely boys and girls. I teach them, play with them, but watch them growing up. I am always young when I was staying with them. I know there is not easy to be a teacher. You have to learn in order to teach. Without enough knowledges, you can never teach good. What is more, you have to make friends with your pupils and take good care of him. Only in this way can you be good teacher and win respect from them. Zhang Xiaowen, who is sixteen, a middle school student in Northern China. She is one of the best student in her class and she was won an award for young scientists last year. When sitting in the classroom she looks just like all her classmates and after class her life is obvious different. She was born without the ability to use her legs and she has no feeling below the waist. Like most of my schoolmates, I have neither brothers nor sisters—on other words, I am an only child. My parents love me dearly of course and will do all they can make sure that I get a good education. They did not want me to do any work at family; they want me to devote all my time on my studies so that I’ll get good marks in all my subject. We may be one family and live under a same roof, but we do not seem to get much time to talk about together. It looks as if my parents treat me as a visitor and a guest. In my village a lot of children have left school for many differentreason. Some families are so poor to send their children to school, so their kids have to earn money to support their families. I still remember my middle school life in Yibin. I was then in a school for student fromother places. As we were all left home at an early age, we meet lots of problems in our daily life.
