Dear Mark,
It is pity you can’t go over the lessons with us. We will take the English finally exam next Thursday, which is also the last day of the exam week. This is different about the exam is that it consisted of two parts, answer three of the five questions and writing articles. We are supposing to go over our mid-term exam papers, textbooks and notes to prepare for it. The grade is made up of three part. The final exam will make up 55% of our final grade, the homework 20% and the mid- term 25%. Please feel free contact me unless you are still not clear about it. Last winter vacation，some of my classmates decide to travel with their friends，while I chose
to take part-time job to gain experience and earn some money. I learned from my teacher that a
nearby company was looking after students with good handwriting to write addresses on
envelope. The pay were 10 cents per envelope．I headed for the company，feeling sure I would
easy finish 300 envelopes in five hours and to earn the money．At fact, I only finished 200．Now，

Your problem is common one among middle school students. Maybe the following advices can help you. First in all, believe in yourself. Your greatest problem is that you don’t have self-confidence. The first thing you must do is to smile at
your classmates. One smile speaks loud about your wish to make the friends than any word. Your smile will show that you are friendly to him. Next, trying talking with a student who is as shy as you or who share the same interest with you. You can discuss your studies with a classmate, and you can 
also talk about your hobbies as well. Unless someone is in trouble, you should be ready to help him or her. Once you have confidence, you can make as many friends as possibly．
