I first met Li Meng at a friend birthday party in five years ago. Then I invited Li Meng in my place. We listen to my CDs together and soon became good friends. Three years ago, Li Meng’s parents invited I to spend two wonderful week in Qingdao with them during the summer holiday. Li Meng and I loved walking along the beautifully beaches there. Last year I was ill but had to stay in hospital for a week. Li Meng came see me every day. Then, her father changed jobs and they moved to another city. Since then we haven’t seen each other much, but we’ve kept write to each other.

At 7:30 on the morning, we gathered at the school gate and set off on a large bus. An hour later, we arrive at the Forest Park. Getting off, we started our journey at once.
First, we climbed the green hills and on the way tried their luck to hunt for hidden treasure. Next, we toured around the lake in the comfortable boat. The beautiful scenery was really a feast for the eye. Then at noon time, we landed and settled at an open area, which we enjoyed a wonderful picnic. After eating, we sang and danced happy and played some interesting games. The day passed quickly. Finally it was time for us to return back. So at 3:00 pm, we cleaned the ground, made our way to the parking lot, getting on the bus and left.
It was really an exciting trip since we had long busy with our school work.

I often quarrel about my mother over if I can watch TV after school. She holds view that senior three students have to make fully use of every minute to work hard at their lessons. It seems to me that once I am allowed to do that, I’ll unable to control myself and forget all about my study. She also thinks it is bad for my eye. But I really can’t accept her ideas. In my opinion, watch TV can set my mind at rest after a day’s hard work. Besides, it is important for us to know what had happened at home and at abroad. Therefore, we shouldn’t be forbidden to watch TV.

As we all know, the frightening sandstorms had a bad effect in people’s life in Northwest China in the past. On the one hand, that was difficult for people to travel in the flying dust, and which also caused damages to their health. On the other hand, many rich fields and forests were covered with sand before sandstorms. And many roads and houses were even complete destroyed by sandstorms.
To our great joy, many measures have taken to protect the environment against sandstorms. For example, many fields have been planting with trees to prevent the soil from flowing away. Besides, many people immigrated as planned to other places, which they live in their new houses with the help of the government.
In my opinion, all these measures are necessary, and only when they are fully carried out we protect the environment well.
