We, Patty and I, had been best friends since Grade Four. Just about everywhere we went, people we were best friends. We secrets about popcorn(爆米花)and soda year after year. The best part about having a best friend was taking sleeping over on Friday nights.
Then in Grade Eight everything changed. Suddenly, my interest in make-up and clothes my mom. I believe Patty started the first day of school the same pigtails(辫子)she had worn forever. What was happening? Other girls seemed more than Patty.
I started avoiding her and making excuses. , during the middle of the year, as we were sitting in the backyard, the broke out. I said, “Go home, Patty, and don’t come back.” Then I ran into the house crying. Mom sat me down and I told her . I’ll never forget her words. She said, “ will come and go in and out of your life forever. You are and it’s okay for both of you to make new friends. is happening is hard but perfectly .”
Time healed(治愈)a lot of the , and over the next few years we clearly walked along paths. Still, when I saw her in the halls of high school, I 5 a strange sadness. I thought if I went back and “fixed” everything between us, we could somehow start all over friends. But that was a fantasy(幻想). Our differences were too great, and I could only she understood.
I’ll always remember the years when Patty and I were best friend, but Mom was right. can change, and we have to let them go when it’s time.

The tourist bus winded its way into a mountainous area. When it was to make a turn, two passengers-a of young lovers-were so attracted by the beautiful scenery that they a stop to get down. They were left behind and the bus went . Suddenly they heard a loud boom of the road. It was a huge rock rolling down in the landslide that hit the bus and fell with it into a deep valley. The lovers were greatly by the news that no passengers on board . When they calmed down they and expressed their feelings in a few words.
The above story was told by a guide when we were riding a tourist to a scenic mountain. He asked us to guess what the lovers said after the disaster that they had narrowly escaped.
Often we read reports about traffic accidents, among which there were ones who missed the bus and the disaster. Those people usually said with a sigh of “Fortunately I was not on board.” On our bus the passengers’ to the guide were various.
But the answer was quite out of our expectation. “If we hadn’t got down and the bus, it would have the dangerous spot and all the passengers would have survived.”
The story passed from person to person as a sort of wit (智慧) test, but I think . It actually serves as a(n) of a person’s mind. I pay my heart-felt respect to the couple who, instead of feeling lucky, themselves for causing the loss of lives. People all have heart for , but it is often a flashing thought across one’s mind that decides whether it is good or evil (邪恶的).

Years ago, if a teenager had some problems in his life, he might go home and write in his diary. Now, a teenager with problems might go onto the Internet and write about them in a blog (博客). In many ways, a diary and a blog are very .So, what makes blogging different from writing in diary?
The biggest difference is that blogging is much more than a diary. Usually, a teenager treats her diary like a book full of that she does not want to .
It’s interesting that someone who writes in a blog a diary will probably write nearly the same information. I have a little sister, and sometimes I go online to read her . She writes about things like waking up early for swimming practice and not studying enough for her chemistry test. I was at her age, I wrote about the same things, but in my diary. Then, after I had finished writing, I would hide my diary in a secret place because I was that my sister might read it!
The biggest with blogging is that anyone can read what you write. If I was angry with a friend during high school and wrote something about her in my diary, she would never know. , if my sister ever wrote something bad about a friend, that friend read her blog and get angry.
There are also to blogging, of course. If I was feeling sad one day and wrote in my diary, “Nobody cares about me.” would know about it. However, if my sister wrote the same sentence in her blog, her best friends would respond and tell her how much they her. Blogs help people stay in with their friends and to hear what the people around them are doing.

But I could let them loose, I looked at the sweater on her. In big it said. “I’M A PERFECT LITTLE ANGEL!” I looked back up into her tearful eyes and, seeing a bad girl who didn’t listen, I saw a little angel full of that I had come dangerously close to . “Sweetheart, let’s take a picture so Mommy can see how you look.” I took the picture and thanked God that I didn’t the chance to prove what a perfect little angel he had given me.
