My experience as a first year camp instructor held many things I was expecting, but also a number of things I was not expecting．My 36 came from lower-income neighborhoods and schools for an 8-week summer day camp．Many of the kids seemed to 37 each other before arriving and those who didn't certainly became friends with each other by the second week of camp．

By the third year of teaching I’d begun to expect Christmas break more for the school holiday and less for the excitement of the children. I was teaching fourth grade and my students had made me 36 . I just had to get through one of the hardest days of the school year.

During one of the toughest weeks of my life, I had the chance to experience surprising grace(善举).
