短文改错（共10小题；每小题1分，满分10分）
英语课上,老师要求同桌同学相互修改作文。假设以下小作文为你同桌所写，请你对其进行修改。文中共有10处错误,每句中最多有两处。错误涉及一个单词的增加,删除或修改。

It was quiet, sunny afternoon. I was sitting in the garden, read the Sunday newspaper and expecting a couple of hour of peace. Then I hear a loud knock on the door. I saw about twelve ladies wearing her Sunday clothes. They said, “Well, we hope we are not late, so it is not easy to find your house.” One lady said, “Well, your husband is very kind to inviting us to tea.” I thought, “My God, my husband must have been mad.” I asked for them into the house and they sat down and started talking happy. But when my husband appeared, it was quickly discovered that they should have gone to the house on the another side of the street.
At present we are living in a good age. Therefore, there are still a
small number of people who don't act responsibly. His bad behaviors are
out of place in our civilizing society. For an example, some people often
risk their lives to disobey traffic rules. Littering is still a seriously problem.
Some people are often seen spit in public places. Bad still, it is common to
find silly things written by some tourists in scenic spots.
To my opinion, everyone should learn to become a responsible citizen.
We must aware that everything we did in public places will affect others and
we should break our bad habits. As long as we obey the rule in every field and
are filled with care and love, our world will become better.

Never shall I forget the first English lesson giving by Miss Liu. One Monday morning, when she entered the classroom, we found that she was a young or beautiful lady. I’m writing to tell you anything about my university(大学) life. It is three months since I come here. I have never left my parents for so long, but I miss them very much. Unlike most of the flight I’ve taken on this trip, the journey from Melbourne to Sydney was thankful short. One hour! It’s much more hotter here in Sydney than in Melbourne, it is strange because I travel from south to north instead of north to south. Things really are upside down below the equator(赤道).
The Sydney Festival is fascinated, and I’m having a marvelous time go to all the art and film shows. It’s going on all mouth, and there’s so much to choose. Best of all, it’s not just in one location, but all over the city, because it’s a great way for me to explore Sydney.
