A high school in England has been issued a new policy to allow students to sleep longer on the mornings. It is introducing a 1:30 –7:00 pm timetable in September. It will become an only school in Britain start lessons in the afternoon. Head teacher Guy Holloway said the new hours should help students get higher grade. He said a research on neuroscience (神经学) show students’ productivity increases unless they can sleep longer in the mornings. Mr. Holloway said, “We want to get students into an environment that they can get quality sleep and their bodies are functioning good.” He adds, “It's about what works in our community.”

My summer vacation was divided in four parts. First , I went traveling with my cousin which is the same age as me. We went to many places of interests in China and enjoyed myself very much. And we planned to travel abroad next summer. Then I learned to play guitar. I went to my guitar class three times a week and practice a lot during the vacation. I still played music in my spare time and felt quite relaxing. Then I spent a lot of time read classic works by famous writers. What’s more, since my mom was busy, I helped do many housework. I expect the next summer will come over soon!

Today I was having a PE lesson while I fell down and hurt my foot．I was in greatly pain at that moment, but I tried to act as if nothing has happened until the class was over．Though I had difficulty walk back to my classroom, I still didn’t tell anyone but even refused the offer of help of my classmates．As result, the hurt in my foot became worse．Now I know I was wrong．We can tell others our need for help and accept his help．Some day we can not help others in return．In this way, we can get along to each other happily and peacefully.

As we all know, travelling can be an excited experience. Let me give you some advices that you have to pay attention. My father took me out camping for the first time when I was seven. He wanted teach me about animals, insects and trees. My uncles all come along with bows and arrows for hunting.
One evening at sunset, we sat by the fire, have our barbecue. Just then a bird was flying over us. My uncles immediate jumped up and shot their arrows on the bird. Neither of the arrows hit the target. Suddenly the arrows was flying down at us from the sky — they were looked like rain! We ran to escape but fortunately no one was injured.
That day I didn’t learn much about animals, insects or trees, but I learnt a impressive lesson about gravity!

Mr. Smith had a 8-year-old son named Tony, who enjoyed listening to music very much. So he bought a piano to Tony, hoping that he can become a famous pianist one day. The little boy put her heart into practising the piano day after day and seemed enjoy every minute of it. However, half a year later, he told his father that he was tiring of practising the piano. Heard this, Mr. Smith said, “Tony, it is one thing to be fond of listen to music, and it is another thing to perform skillful by yourself. You can never play the piano well even if you don’t practise more.”
