If you travel in some areas of India, you'll be lucky enough to be waited on by special guides - monkeys. These monkeys are always ready to serve you. Hungry, you just need to point to your own stomach and they'll lead you to the nearest restaurant. Thirsty, the monkeys will lead you to a bar. They are just asking for a little money as a tip. After that, they will wave their hands as if they are saying goodbye to you.

Some are being trained as nurses in an American medical college. These monkeys are about to look after patients and help-them with their housework.

The trees have been on the earth for millions of years. Disease(疾病) is destroying trees. For example, in the 1970s, many trees in Europe were killed by disease.
This new danger attacks all the forests and woods of Europe from northern Sweden to southern Italy. First the branches turn yellow and brown. Then the trees’ leaves fall. The roots and the trunk shrink(萎缩). Finally the trees die. In the Black Forest in southern Germany, 75%of the trees have been destroyed or killed.
Nobody knows exactly, but it is probably air pollution or acid rain(酸雨). Factories, power stations and cars give off tons of smoke with acid into the air. Sunlight turns these into something harmful which fall with rain or snow onto the trees.
What can be done about acid rain?
Acid rain doesn’t always fall on the countries which produce the pollution. The wind carries it from one country to another. Badly, the governments don’ t want to spend money on it if it won’ t harm the trees in their own countries. The rainforests of Asia and South America are being cut down for firewood and building materials. Something must be done. If the trees die, we will, too.

One day, a young man visited a small farm in the countryside. As he got closer to the farm, he saw many chickens and an eagle (鹰) playing together.
He then went up to the farm house and talked to the farmer, “Sir, I was just passing by and I saw that you have many chickens and an eagle.” The farmer smiled and said, “That’s not an eagle. It’s a chicken.” The young man kept saying that it was an eagle. He said to the farmer, “Sir, that is an eagle! I can proveit to you.” The farmer laughed, “Sure, go ahead.”
The young man then pulled that big bird out and climbed a high mountain. He held the bird in his hands and said, “You are an eagle, fly!” But the bird failed. The young man tried the second time. He said to the bird, “I don’t care you have been raised as a chicken for those years. But I know what you were created to be. You are an eagle, now fly!” After the young man tried another three times, the bird began to flap (拍打) its wings. Finally, it flew high and began to fly around the farm.
