“Challenge Myself”. Many students take part in it, and delivered their wonderful
speech. A great many of teachers and students crowded into the hall in order that

During the summer vacation this year, I thought I should do anything meaningful instead of staying at home, so I get a job at a KFC fast food restaurant, working there as a cleaner. I worked seven hours a day for three week. The job was hard and bored , which made me very tired that I nearly gave it up half way. And I went on with determination. Every day I started off for work early in the morning and got to home late in the evening. Finally I finished the job before the new term begins. Now, I understand that work means. I think it is really successful experience.

I am an exchange student from China. Yesterday, I went to your cinema to see a film. The film was very well, but I did not enjoy it because there were some problem in the cinema. First, the film was delayed as there were so much advertisements at the beginning. It was rather annoyed. Second, the sound of the film was too loud that I could hardly bear. The EXIT signs could not be seen clearly, which presented potential safety hazards. If something terribly should happen, it will be difficult for people to get out quickly. Of all my teachers, Mr Moore is the one who impress me most. He is 34, so he looks young for his age. And he's one of the most popular teacher in our school. Mr Moore pays more attention to his way of teaching, comparing with other teachers.
He tries different ways to make his classes actively and lively. On his opinion, we should not only know "what", but understand "why". So, instead giving us answers immediately, he encourages us to think by myself whenever he puts forward questions. With his help, we've learned from how to settle problems. Dear Diary,
Here I am in the middle of a city, 350 miles far away from our farmhouse. Do you want to know
why we move last week? Dad lost his job, and as Mom explained, “He is lucky to find other one.”
His new job meant I had to say goodbye to my classmate, my school and just everything else I love
in the world. To make flings bad, now I have to share a room to my younger sister, Maggie.
Tomorrow is first day of school. I am very tiring, but I know I’ll never fall asleep.
