We all want to grow up happily and healthy, and for this goal we must do several things. Firstly, we should develop good attitude for life. Life consist of not only sunshine but also hard time. In recent years, study abroad has been popular. Many students are trying his best to go abroad. There are many advantages in attending schools in abroad. This summer I will go to study at the London University,but I don’t know how to adapt myself for the new life.
I hear that many freshmen are at loss what to do when they are in a foreign country .Feel lonely and homesick ,they find it much harder to get use to the new culture ,diet and climate.
Most of them can’t take well care of themselves in their everyday life .
However it is difficult to find a satisfied host. It ’,s more difficult to fully understand what the teachers teach in class though they speak English all the time.

During the summer holidays this year, I thought I sh
ould do anything meaningful instead of staying at home, so I have got a job at a KFC fast food restaurant, worked there as a cleaner. I worked seven hours a day for three weeks.
The job was hard and bored and seemed endless, which made me so tired that I nearly gave it in half way, but I stuck to it with determinations. Every day I started off for work early in the morning and got home lately in the evening. Finally I finished the job before the new term begins.
Now, I understand that labor means. I think it is really successful experience.

In order to realize his dream, Bill Gates, richest man in the world, gave up studying in Harvard University, that is the most famous in the world. He set up a company and researching the computer software. As an old saying go, “Interest is the best teacher.” I quite agree with this idea. I began to be crazy about English when I was a little girl. I got extreme interested in foreign cultures or customs. To meet me curiosity, I read in English stories every day. It seemed to be the best “meal” of a day. As a result, I always did very well in English exam. Interest is the key of success.
