Nowadays, there is a increasing number of people joining in the activities of volunteering. It’s well-known that volunteering jobs are making contributions to society with something in return. It’s as the Spirit of Lei Feng. However, knowing this, there are still many people would like to devote themselves to this trend. For instance, the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games had such many volunteers. They make lots of contributions to the success of the Olympics. Today is Sunday. The sky is full of sunshine, so does my life. At about 9:00 a.m., I go to the bookstore with
my friends. There was a lot of new books. I didn’t know what one to buy because these books were all useful to me. At 10:00, we went to cinema. The film was called The Earthquake of Tangshan but some people were waiting outside the booking office. It took us about two hours to see it. Having been seen the film, everyone was deeply moving. Some of my friends even burst into tear. That’s a really wonderful film. It is very worth seeing.

Christine was just a girl in one of my classes. I never knew much about her except for that she was strange. She didn’t talk many. Her hair was black and purple, and she worn black sports shoes and a black sweater, although in the summer. My mother is a village woman, already in her fifty. She has little school education, and she knows that knowledge is very important to young people. She often asked me how I am getting along my studies. She does everything she can for me, so that I can spend more time study.
Once my mother was ill and stayed in the bed for several day. When I got home at night, I found the light was still off and she was making new clothes for me! I was deeply moved that tears came to my eyes. Such is her mother, a kind and hard-working woman. And I will respect and love her forever.
