On a snowy winter night, a bus with 45 passenger had an accident because the wet road. And all of them were trapping in the bus and what is worse, the bus ran out of gas and it was very cold in it. They could do nothing but to wait for help. A man who lived nearby saw that had happened. He and some villagers succeeded in open the door and helped all of them out of the bus. He took them to his home but offered food and water and even some warm clothes to the children. They spent two days in their home and finally help came. All of them were thankfully for their help.

Dear friends,
It is real a good chance to have all of you here. We have spent several precious weekend in the English Club. Because we have been members for a short period of time, we have made a great progress. That is because we are all very much active and the activities are not only enjoyable and also helpful. Besides, the foreign teachers here work hard and try his best to make the activities lively and interested. I am very pleased to say that all of us greatly improved our spoken English so far. I am looking forward to see all of you again in the near future.

My classmate Liu Hui looks tired this week. This morning, I asked him if he had trouble in fall asleep. He said no and explained how he looked tired. “I want to do well on my studies, so I have been stayed up these days,” he said. Hearing that, I became worrying. “Staying up may not help you at all. If you want to study well, you should have had a good sleep every night,” I said. Though he disagreed with me. He believed that if he studied for two more hour every night, he would catch up others. There’s a old man in our village calling Old Joe, who is said to be 110 years old. I don’t know whether it is true because of he doesn’t have a birth certificate. All his personal papers are destroyed during World WarⅡ. Sometimes I doubt if he is really that old, and it doesn’t matter. He certainly looks very old, and of course, he is often asked question by people who want to know the secret of long life. Old Joe always answers them like this, “If you offered a cigarette, never accept it; if you are annoyed by someone, never lose his temper; and if you are asked foolishly questions, never answer it!”
I watch TV until 12 o'clock, so I could not go over my lessons. This morning I got up very late that I had to go to school without breakfast in hurry but I was late for the first class. When I entered the classroom, the maths teacher had to stop explain an important problem, and all the eyes fixed upon me. My face turned red. Something even worse was happened to me in English class. The teacher asked me to recite the text, yet I could speak nothing but sorry, for I did not spend any time preparing my lessons. The teacher looked at me with his coldly eyes. I stood at my bench without dare to raise my head. How a terrible day I had! I will never do anything like this.
