The first rescue team sent by China arrived in Nepal on Sunday at the scene of the devastating earthquake that has killed more than 2,000 people, with more (rescue) on their way to the Himalayan nation. Later on Sunday, the team spent about four hours in the northwest of Kathmandu and rescued its first survivor, a 20-year-old man.
As the death toll rose, the United States and European nations began to send emergency teams to find survivors in Kathmandu and in rural areas that (strike) and cut off.
