I hardly remember my grandmother. She used to holding me on her knees and sing old songs. I was only four when she passes away. She is just a distant memory for me now.

He had a deep voice, which set himself apart from others in our small town, he was strong and powerful. Once a king asked an artist to paint a picture for him. He told the artist he didn’t want to any shadows in the picture, just sunshine, but the artist did so. When the king saw the finish picture, he was disappointed. Without shadows, everything in the picture looked flat and real. The point of the story was that we need both shadows and sunshine to have a completely picture, just as we need both rain and sun to have living world. People, too, need both sadness and happiness. Last Saturday I went to the library as usually. At about noon, I was enjoying my reading near a lake while suddenly I hear someone crying for help. I went up to see what was happening. I was shocking to find a little child struggling in the water in the distance while many peoples were standing by without doing anything. Without any hesitation, I had pushed through the crowd as I took off my coat, but jumped into the water quickly. I managed to reach him and carried him back to safety. To his great relief, the kid saved.
I was proud with what I had done. I hope everyone can give a hand when someone else is in need.
My father and I stayed at the South Lake Hotel for a week when we visit Beijing last month. It is in the downtown area, but it is easy to go to anywhere from the hotel by public transport. We lived in a comfortably double-room with a big bath. What I liked best were the free high-speed Internet connection in the room. I checked my email messages every day. I also shared for my friends many photos taking in Beijing. The food was wonderful with reasonable prices, and we enjoyed several local dish.
It is such great hotel that I would recommend it to any friend of me who is going to Beijing.

It’s been a week before we left your family and we are now back home. Thank you very much for showing them around your city and providing us for the wonderful meals.
After we said goodbye to you, we went to Washington D.C., which we stayed for three days. My brother was so much fond of the museums there that he begged my parents to staying another couple of day. However, my father had to return to work on Monday so we fly back last Saturday afternoon. It was really a nice experience.
If you’d like to make trip to our city some day, I will be more than happier to be your guide.
