Olivia was riding an elevator(电梯). She was going to the top of the Empire State Building（帝国大厦） in New York City, or almost to the top. She wanted to go to the 102^nd floor, but she couldn’t afford the price. It wasn’t free to ride the elevator. She also had to go through security(安全) checks, and her bag had to get checked.
