I was born without legs, so I have to wear ones to walk or use a wheelchair. I was fine. I fought off every physical challenge in my life. I went to work, drove and lived on my own. I climbed stairs and buses by myself. However, one year ago, someone came into my life and showed me that there were more to face. His name is Joseph and he is my . He doesn’t that I was born without legs. Instead, he does want me to feed him, carry him and comfort him.
Anyone who has had a baby may know how much equipment it needs to take care of the baby. It turns out that being a parent without needs more equipment, At least, I need to equip my wheelchair a basket. When I put my baby in the basket, I can push him from room to room. It is a highly effective and cheap way and Joseph finds it fun.
, I try taking Joseph outside by using a baby belt and strapping(捆) him on my chest, but Joseph often blocks my , which makes it very difficult to go on. I manage to do it, it is more by than judgment. When a baby , often the most effective way is to comfort it by walking around with it. However, I can’t do that , because it takes too long for me to get to Joseph in my wheelchair. Sometimes, when I only stand upright on my hands, Joseph holds out his arms for a . He doesn’t understand that if there’s nothing for me to myself, I can’t safely hold him. His trust that I can look after him gives me more courage.
I have just his first birthday. I’m very for him to grow up and start walking, so that we can go outside together more easily. Let the challenges keep . We’ll be and fine.

In my dual (双重的) profession __36__ an educator and health care provider,I have worked with many children infected with HIV. They have taught me so many things, but I have especially learned that great __37__ can be found in the smallest individuals. Let me tell you about Tyler.
Tyler was __38__ infected with HIV;his mother was also infected. From the very beginning of his life,he was dependent on medications to __39__ him to survive. When he was five, he had a tube inserted in a vein(静脉) in his chest. At times, he also needed extra oxygen to support his __40__.
Tyler wasn't __41__ to give up one single moment of his childhood to this deadly disease. It was not __42__ to find him playing and racing around his backyard, wearing his medicineloaded backpack and __43__ his tank of oxygen behind him in his little wagon (小手推车). All of us who knew Tyler were impressed by his pure __44__ in being alive and the energy it gave him. Tyler's mom often __45__ him by telling him that he moved so __46__ she needed to dress him in red. That way, when she peered through the window to check on him playing in the yard, she could quickly __47__ him.
This deadly disease eventually __48__ down Tyler. He grew quite ill and, unfortunately, __49__ did his HIVinfected mother. When it became __50__ that he wasn't going to survive, Tyler's mom talked to him about __51__. She comforted him by telling Tyler that she was dying too,and that she would be with him soon in heaven.

Recent studies show that only one out of three people have strong and healthy self-confidence. That 36 two out of every three people simply don’t know the37 they already have to be successful when it’s 38 there in their hands! 39 if you want others to believe in you, you have to believe in yourself first. Remember: “No one can make you feel inferior (差的) unless you 40 them.” A successful businessman says, “You can’t push anyone up a ladder 41 he knows he can climb himself.”
Many of us have an image 42 , the image(形象)we have of ourselves. 43 one guy put it: “You can’t win a horse race if you think you look 44 on a horse.” To succeed, the first person you have to 45 is yourself! So stop believing your own lies about yourself. Just 46 your mind and you’ll change your life.
One of the most harmful weapons that can kill your success in life is the two little words:“47 ”. You know that people used to 48 that if human beings traveled faster than 30 miles an hour it would 49 our circulation(循环)of blood and kill us? Thank goodness a few people didn’t believe that 50 thinking, or we wouldn’t be riding in cars, buses, and flying in airplanes today. You’ll never know until you 51 .
Roger Bannister was the first human being to run a mile in less than 4 minutes. But 52 he did it, most people in the world didn’t think it was even 53 Yet only weeks after Bannister did it, suddenly 54 all over the world began running a mile in less than 4 minutes! If we believe something can be done, we’ll 55 do it.

Years ago, if a teenager had some problems in his life, he might go home and write in his diary; now, a teenager with the 36 problems might go onto the Internet and write about them in a blog(博客). In many ways, a diary and a blog are very 37 , but what makes blogging different from writing in a(n) 38 diary?
The biggest difference is that a blog is much more 39 than a diary. Usually, a teenager treats his diary like a book full of 40 that he does not want to 41 with others.
It’s interesting that someone who writes in a blog 42a diary will probably write nearly the same information.
I have a little sister, and sometimes I go online to read her 43 . She writes about things like waking up early for swimming practice and not studying enough for her chemistry test.
44 I was her age, I wrote about the same thing, but 45in my diary. Then, after I had finished writing, I would hide my diary in a secret place because I was 46 that my sister might read it.
The biggest 47 with blogging is that anyone can read what you write. If I was angry with a friend during high school and wrote something 48 about him in my diary, he would never know. 49 , if my sister ever wrote something bad about a friend, that friend might
50 her blog and get angry.
There are also 51 to blogging, of course. If I was feeling sad one day and wrote in my diary “ Nobody cares about me …”, no one would 52 about it. However, if my sister wrote the same sentence in her blog, her best friend would quickly 53 and tell her how much they 54 her. Blog helps people 55in contact with their friends and know what the people around them are doing.
