Don't break kid's heart
I ran into a stranger as he passed by. "Oh, excuse me please" was my reply. He said," Please excuse me too.1 wasn't even watching for you."
We were very ,this stranger and I. We went on our way and said goodbye.
But at home story is told-how we treat our loved ones, young and old. Later that day, cooking the evening meal, my daughter stood beside me very still. When I turned, I nearly knocked her down. "Move out of the way," I shouted at her. My daughter walked away, her little heart broken. I didn't realize how rudely I had spoken.
While l was in bed. God's small voice came to me and said, "When dealing with a ,common manners you use, but the children you love, you seem to be rude. Look on the kitchen floor, and you will find some there by the door. Those are the flowers your daughter brought for you. She picked them herself, pink, yellow and blue. Your daughter stood not to spoil(毁坏)the surprise, and you never saw the tears in her eyes."
By this time, I felt very small, and now my began to fall. I quietly went and knelt(跪下) by her bed; "Wake up, my little baby, wake up," I said.
"Are these the flowers you for me?" My daughter smiled, "I found them out by the tree. I picked them they are pretty like you. I knew you would like them, especially the blue."
I said, "Daughter, I am sorry for the way I acted today: I should not have shouted at you that way." My daughter said, "Oh, Mom, that's okay. I love you anyway."
I said, "Daughter, I love you too, and I do like the flowers, especially the ."

“Sixteen,” I said. I have forgotten the math question my second-grade teacher, Joyce Cooper asked that day, but I will never forget my _1_ . As soon as the number left my mouth, the whole class started _2_ . I felt like the silliest person in the world.
Mrs. Cooper fixed them with a firm (严格的) look. Then she said: “We’re all here to _3_ .”
Another time, Mrs. Cooper asked us to write a _4_ about what we hoped to do with our lives. I wrote: “I want to be a _5_ like Mrs. Cooper.”
She wrote on my report, “You would make an outstanding(杰出的) teacher _6_ you are determined(坚定的) and you try hard.” I was to carry those _7_ in my heart for the next 27 years.
After I graduated from high school, I got married and had children.
We needed every penny just to get by. College – and teaching – was out of the question.
Then one day I thought of my _8_ of how I wanted to help children. I talked it over with my family and _9_ to attend college classes in the mornings before work. And when I got home from work, I would _10_ . Finally after seven years, my dream had been realized and I became a teacher.
Not long after I started _11_ , something happened that brought the _12_ rushing back to me. I had written a sentence with grammatical(语法的) mistakes on the blackboard. Then I asked students to come and _13_ the mistakes.
One girl got halfway through, became confused(迷乱的) and stopped. As the other children laughed, _14_ rolled down her face. I gave her a hug and told her to get a drink of water. Then, remembering Mrs. Cooper, I fixed _15_ of the class with a firm look. “We’re all here to learn,” I said.

I asked many classmates and friends, “What do you think you will be when you grow up?” 1 of them told me what they would like to be in the future, 2 others said, “I don’t know.” I’m 3 to hear that because I think it’s bad. I think having dreams or hopes about the future will help us do better at school.
As middle school students, it’s time for us to 4 what we want to be in the future. If we know it better, we will know 5 to do it better at school. For example, if you are outgoing and like to meet people, you can be a 6 in the future. Then you should practice 7 more articles. If you’re happy with children and like 8 , you can teach English as a job in the future. And then you are supposed to work harder at English. If you want to 9 many interesting places, you can be a tour guide.
Of course, all the 10 that we are learning at school will be useful in the future, so we should work hard at all of them.
