Where have all the tigers gone? India's Sariska Project Tiger Reserve,once home to 26 tigers, is now home to none. The government has ordered the police to find out the truth, and organize a new police group to save the tigers.
Half of the world's tigers live in India. For years, tigers have been disappearing from India's national parks. On Thursday, the first meeting of forest officials was held to make a plan to keep the nation's remaining tigers safe. It is not hard to guess why the tigers are disappearing. "Indian tiger poaching(偷猎）is probably the biggest cause for the disappearing of tigers."said Belinda Wright,the head of the Wildlife Protection Society of India.
It seems difficult to stop tiger poaching. Why? First of all,tigers are so popular and expensive in black market that they become the best choice of the poachers. For example,Poachers can sell a tiger at $50,000. Tiger skin and bones are favoured in Chinese medicine. A single tiger tooth can cost $120. Recently ,a group of poachers admitted killing 12 tigers in Sariska and they got a great amount of money. Even though they were put into prison finally,a lot more people will continue this trade. Second, many poachers use night glasses and powerful guns while forest guards only have their hands. Even if a guard finds a poacher,he can only use a stick. What's worse,the forest guards are paid poorly so few of them are willing to catch the poachers.
I hope that the new plan will stop the poachers and save the endangered animals.

There was a farm,where lived Farmer John with his wife Molly. They raised pigs,cows and many other animals on their farm. Also there lived a little mouse.
One day John came back with a bag. From the bag,John took out a mousetrap and set it. When the mouse saw this, it ran away in fear and decided to run around the farmyard to warn all its animal friends.

Unluckily the snake bit Molly. John rushed her to the hospital. Later, when they returned home,Molly still had a fever. John remembered that chicken soup was good for a fever,so he went to his farmyard to bring the chicken. Molly's sickness continued and many friends came to visit her, the farmer killed the pig so he could treat all the visitors.
Unfortunately, Molly became weaker and weaker and one day she died. Many neighbors, relatives and friends arrived for the funeral . John had to kill the cow to treat all of them.

Compared to unhappy people, those who are cheerful and relaxed are less likely to suffer

In an earlier study, Cohen found that people who were cheerful and lively caught coughs
and colds less often. ____
In this study, Cohen's study interviewed 193 adults every day for two weeks. During
the interviews, the people told researchers about the happy or sad feelings they had that day.
After the two weeks, the people were given colds by doctors and had to stay alone in a room for
six days.

But for people who said they felt happy during theresearchperiod , their illness was less
serious and lasted for a shorter time.
Cohen believes that when people experienced positive feelings, their body may produce

Dr. Adrian North made a study with 256 university students.Half the group took exercise
in the gymnasium listening to music which can bring happiness and the other half exercised
to aggressive music. When leaving the gym, the students were asked to hand out flyers（传单） in support of the local disabled athlete’s foundation（残疾运动员基金会）.
The results showed that nearly half of the group that listened to happy music were willing to (愿意) hand out flyers. But less than 20% in the group that heard the aggressive music were willing to do so. This study suggests that our choice of music can influence our willingness to cooperate(合作). While a study also shows that productivity (生产效率) can be increased with the right choice of background music in the workplace. As music stimulates(刺激)worker’s mind, job satisfaction is often positively influenced. Other studies have shown that workers who are in a good mood have more job satisfaction than those in a bad mood.
These studies show that music can have a powerful influence on a person’s ability to cooperate. Moods have a direct influence(直接影响) on cooperation and job satisfaction. These factors also have a direct relationship to the success of a business.
