A US man has shown off a 14-year-old McDonald's hamburger that looks the same as the day he it.
David Whipple, from Utah, had originally(起初) planned to the burger for two months in order to show friends how its preservatives（防腐剂） would keep its appearance.
But, after accidentally leaving in his pocket for two years, Mr Whipple decided to keep the burger for even longer to see it could continue looking the same.
“It wasn't on purpose,” Mr. Whipple told US television show “The Doctors”.
“I was showing some how enzymes（酶）work and I thought a hamburger would be a . And I used it for a month and then about it. My wife didn't it until at least a year or two after that. And we pulled it out from the closet(衣柜) and said 'oh my gosh, I can't believe it looks the same way'.”
He now admits that he uses the burger to convince（说服） his grandchildren not to eat junk food from restaurants McDonalds.
“It's great for the grandkids to see. what happens with !” he said.

The situation seemed hopeless.
From the first day he entered my junior-high classroom, Willard P. Franklin lived in his own , shutting out his classmates and me, his teacher. That night, after school, I took our donations to the school principal. I couldn’t sharing the incident(事件) that had taken place.
“I may be wrong, but I believe Willard might be getting ready to become a part of the world around him,” I told the principal.
“Yes, I believe it is hopeful for him to get out of his own world,” he nodded. “And I think we can do something to have him a bit of his world with us. I just received a list of the poor families in our school who most need help through the Christmas collection. Here, take a look at it.”

Hello Sandy,
We have just come back from our vacation. We went with our friends Edward Smith and his wife Tina to the Yorkshire Moors. This is a beautiful place. It is a park. There are lots of places to walk on the tops of the hills, miles of grassland with people, just sheep and birds.
Edward, who had just come out of , could not walk as far as he used to. However this meant that we walked in the mornings, and then at a cafe for lunch each day before going back to the place we lived. Edward and I in front of the fire all afternoon, while the ladies went for walk. Very pleasant!
