Some people regard keeping pets, like dogs, as useless thing. But I hold the opposite view or I have a dog myself. I keep a pet for three reasons. First, pets taught responsibility. After I get a dog, I think it’s my job to feeding him and take him for walks after school. The second reason is that he can makes a good companion for me when everyone else are busy. Now, I seldom drive Dad crazily always asking him to play with me. The third reason why I keep a pet dog is for safe. He can warn my family from danger and keep our house safe. I love my dog very well and I’ll always take good care of him.

Dear Mary,
How are you? Today I've got a wonderful news to tell you. I have offered a scholarship at a university in Australia for my further education. One hundreds and twenty students took exams but only a few was chosen and I was one of them. However, my parents are not happy about it. They are strong against me going there. They say it is too far away that they will not see me for a whole year and they are afraid I will feel lonely. They couldn't imagine a girl so young living alone. They advise me to study in the capital instead. Then I'll be able to continue living with us. Why can I persuade them to accept the fact I have grown up?

I was a newly qualified foot-health practitioner（执业者）. One day I was in the phone to a female patient recently, go over the details of an appointment. I used to feel I was the sun in my family．But when my cousin was born，everyone pays more attention to her．So I disliked her and couldn’t get along well with her. With time went on，I realized how ridiculous I have been at that time．I tried to find a proper time to apologize．When my cousin’s family came to my home a few day ago，I took my cousin to play outside．In the way to the playground．I bought much snacks for her．Then we began chat．When we talked about their childhood，suddenly，I said“sorry”gently．She was silently，so I thought that she hadn’t heard me clearly．But after while she said：“Don’t say that．In my memory，you are always friendly．”
Last Sunday I saw a worst storm in years .It came sudden and went on for over three hours .After lunch, I went into my room to have a rest .The air was hot, but all was quiet. Then a strong wind started to blow into my room .Pieces of paper on my desk flew high into the air and some flew out the open window .As I ran out to catch it, big drop of rain began to fall .When I come back into the house, it was raining more harder and harder .Then I heard a loud crashing sound from the back of the house .When I ran out to find out that had happened, a big tree had fallen down and broke the top of the backroom .

I have learnt English for a long period, so I often make mistakes when speak the language. I wonder what will happen if I will meet with a native speaker . The English corner is the place which I can practice my speaking English. In a real situation, I can talk to others about whatever I want to say. In this way, I am sure I will speak English quite good very soon. What’s more, it offer a chance for me to make friends. I can meet various kind of people. Gradual we come to know each other and to become friends.
