Yesterday afternoon our school invites Professor Li from Beijing University to give us, Senior 3 students, report. Professor Li is engaged in psychology, whose report were about how to prepare the lessons scientifically for the National College Entrance Examination.
On his report he emphasized the importance of a good habit of study and rest. And meanwhile she replied to some questions from both teachers or students.
As for me, what Professor Li said is very much to the point. Recent, I have always been felt a headache, unable to concentrate on classes. In fact, I often stayed up very late to do plenty of exercises. Because of more sleep and rest, I couldn't take my lessons effectively. Thanks to Professor Li, I am getting to know that how to prepare well for the examination in future.

Nobody can succeed without making mistakes. I can well remember that last year an English speech contest held in our school. Because my English was the best in our class, so all my classmates encouraged me to take part in the contest. I was so shy a girl that I even dared not answer questions in class. I was afraid of making mistakes in front of so many judge. At last, my classmate Wang Ying, her English was not very good, take part in the contest and won the third prize. Heard the news, I regretted not taking part in it.. As the result, I missed a good chance to show myself.
Now, I have realized the fact which making mistakes is an unavoidable thing in our way to success. Only by making mistakes and correcting them can we make progress step by step and final achieve our goals.

One day I was in the back yard teaching my little nephew how to play football. He said that play football was something easier. His words immediately bring back memories of my childhood. As a little boy, I told my uncle I wanted to become football star like him. However, he taught me how to kick the ball. After some practice, I told him it was hardly for me to kick the ball the way he kicked them. He talked to me about not giving up on how I really wanted to do. Thank to his guidance and encouragement, and I’ve become a football star in my school.

Li Hua and Wang Hai are students of Senior Three. They all work hard but have different learning methods. Li Hua listens to her teachers attentive and tries to catch everything the teachers say. She spends more time doing her homework. It is certain what she can go to bed earlier and always keeps energetic in the day.
However, Wang Hai had a different way of learning. He likes to stay up late at the night, so he often feels sleepy in class. Thus, he misses lots of key point and it usually spends him more time to finish his homework, that makes it difficult for him to concentrate what he is doing. I prefer Li Hua's learning method.

Taiwan has an area of about 3600 square kilometers and the population of over 20,000,000. The scenery is such beautiful and the climate is so pleasant what travelers come in a continuous stream for a visit from all over the world, I am sure you will have a lot fun there.

Every morning John goes to work by trains. He always buys a piece of newspaper, it helps to make the time pass more quickly. One Thursday morning, he turns to the sports page. And he didn’t know it until he saw the sea. He got off at the next station, and had to wait long time for a train to return back. Of course, he arrived very lately at the office. His boss got very angry when Tom told him why he was late. “Work is very important than football!” he shouted.
