Thank you for the lovely day we have with you. It was so kind for you to let us bring Anne’s friend, Gina. Fortunately, the only problem was the journey home. There had been a terrible accident on the highway and, for a result, there was a long line of traffic for at least six mile. In the end, we drove to a service station but waited there until the road was clear. In the car park there, Gina nearly knocked over as a car drove out far too quick from behind a lorry. We finally dropped Gina off at his parents’ and made our own way back to home.

Time fly like an arrow. I'm already in the second half of Senior Grade 3 before I realized it. It is only a little more than three months before I graduate middle school. At the present，I'm busy review my lessons in order to take the College Entrance Examination. I hope to go to Beijing University，that is one of the best universities not only in China but also in the world. I'll try my best turn my dream to reality. Most of my classmates are also studying very hard to realize our wishes. I do believe everyone will be able to enter an university or college.

A survey basing on 1,000 students found that 80% of senior students sleep less than nine hours every night. One main reason lies at students’ bad habits.
Too much homework is given by school teachers is another main cause. Some students are absent-minded while doing their homework, and some wasting their after-class time.
The third cause is that some students have to get up earlier on weekday to get to school that far away from home. Experts think the amount of homework for the students should cut down. Beside, teachers should encourage their students make good use of their spare time. Only in this way can the students improve our study efficiency.

There are advantage for students to work while studying at school. One of them was that they can earn money. In the most part，students working to earn money for their own use. Earning their own money allow them to spend on anything as if they please. They would have to ask their parents for money or for permission to do things by the money. As summer vacation are coming soon, my classmates are trying very hardly to get train tickets to go home. But I have made up my minds to spend the vacation far from home for first time in my life. My parents have agreed to visiting me, and I will have a different vacation. When they came here, I will show them around my university and the city just as well. I have decided to buy them some nice gifts. It will be a big surprising for them. My parents have done a lot to me, and I think it is high time that I did anything special to express my thanks.
