The person who has taught me most about the life is my grandmother. She was more than just a grandmother to me. When she died a few years before, I felt I lost a really good friend. She always looked very nice on her age. She did everything she could make me feel at home. She was imaginative and would spend hours telling me stories she has made up. I am sure it was because of her which I became a story writer. Apart from kept a young boy entertained, she taught me a large number of important thing on how to behave. I was rather impatient when I was a child and she taught me that good things happened if I could wait for it. She was a positive person but she also taught me how to look for the good in everything.

I’m a senior 3 student who take the College Entrance Exam soon.Now I have a problem in choosing my major.My parents want me to study international business.Therefore,my head teacher suggests that I chose software engineering.As for me,I have a total different idea from them.I want to take environmental science for my major so that I can use that I have learned to help improving the environment in my hometown after the graduation.But can I possibly make a decision on my own against the will of my parents and my teacher? In order to make best of learning materials, the Student’s Union of our school is planning an
activity. The school – leavers are called on to give away our used books, newspapers or magazines to the student in the lower grades. The idea, that is intended to promote friendship and encourage a low – carbon lifestyle, are highly praised and supported by the teachers and students alike. The activity will be hold on the first floor of the school library and so it will last eleven days, from June 10 to 20. as student, I am strong for the activity because it is very meaningful and helpful. I hope that this kind of activity would continue every year for the future.

All of us know the old saying “Practice make perfect.” It tells us unless we want to realize our aim, we should practise, and one day we will make it.It’s easy to understand.Once I wanted to learn swimming.At first I found difficult to control my body.I just sank into the water.I feel very frightened.Then I watched others who were good at them and asked them the key to succeed.I went to the swimming pool every day, learned from them and practised.A day, when my friend pushed me into the swimming poo1, I sudden found that I could swim.How exciting I was! Now I can swim much more better than before.
