I was excited when I hear that our community was to have its own McDonald’s restaurant. I thought about all those young people whom would not have to go to the next town to buy its favorite burgers and chips. McDonald’s cares about health eating too and works with scientists to provide food that is high quality, safe and healthy. They often provide salads as good as burgers and chops. You can also choose between cola with milk shakes. Of course it also means more work for our area that need jobs badly. McDonald’s says they are interested in doing what is right for the community and being good neighbor. So I think they will be concerned about provide parking for the cars in our main street.

Dear Jim,
I'd like to tell you something more about our school sports meet. It was holding on Oct. 6, which was a fine day. There were over 1,000 students and teachers attend it. Wang Lin, a student from my class won the 100-metre race. He finish the race in 12.6 seconds and broke in the school record. The sports meet was really success. That was because we were all trying to do my best. Although I was not one of the winner, I was proud of that we had done.

Every one of us can make a great efforts to cut off the use of energy in our country. To begin with, all of us can start reducing to the use of oil by driving only when you have a real need. That won't be easy, but we have to start anywhere. What's more, we can go to work by bike once and twice a week, and we can also buy smaller cars that burn more oil. Other way is to watch our everyday use of water and electric at home. For example, how many times have you walked out of a room, leaving the lights when no one’s there?
