Over a year ago, my friend was ready to return after complete his tour in Singapore. He didn’t expect that he was about to get on his airplane when he stopped politely by one of the worker of the airport. He was told that he was not allowed to aboard. My friend had thought that there must be anything wrong with his ticket. The worker told him that was not his ticket but the book he hadn’t return to, which he had borrowed from a library, that caused the trouble. Certainly, my friend didn’t board but missed the flight. He wasn’t permitted to take the flight home a week late until he returned the book to the library.

I was used to feel sleepy in class and couldn’t focus on the lessons the teachers
give. As a result, not only did I do bad in my studies, but also my health went from
bad to worse, about which I was often scolded by my parents. I was also annoying
about my situation. About half a year ago, followed the head teacher’s advice, I began to participate in some sport activities and kept on playing basketball for 45 minutes and so every day till today. Now my health has been greatly improved, so at the same time, I’ve made good progress in all my lessons. Physical exercise has changed me into an entire new person!

Now I’d like to tell you something about my part-time job this
summer vacation, of which I worked like a guide in a travel agency.
The work was interesting but tired. I think it was helpful to work this
holiday. It was the first time that I have earned money on my own.
I’ve come to understand how hard my parents work to support
for the family. I used to keep on ask them for money, but now I’ll never
waste money and learn to share worry with my parent. I've learnt how
to get along well with others. What's worse, I've gained some working
and social experience and I have learnt something can' t be learnt from
textbooks. All these will be good for my future. In the word, I had the
wonderful and valuable summer vacation.
