Recently our class have had a heat discussion on whether the score of English should be reduced by 100. Opinions concerned this hot topic vary from person to person.
Some students in favor of it. They thought reducing the score may be a good chance for our students, we are supposed to attach much important to Chinese. It is no need for every student to learn English so hard.
However, others disagree with it. They think it’s English that play an important role in international communication. In their opinion, reduce the English score isn’t a wise choice.

It was on Sunday so I didn’t have to go to school as usually. My parents went to the countryside to see my grandparents, left me alone. After finishing my homework, I began to play football at home. All of a sudden, I kicked the ball so hardly that it flew right onto a vase and broke it. It was great favorite of my mother’s. I decided to tell my parents it was the fault of the cat for fear that she should punish me. Therefore, when they got home, I hesitated for a moment and told them that truly happened. I’d like tell you something about your life in this boarding schoo1．I stay in a dormitory with three other girls，all of them are kind and nice．We get on well to others and have become good friends．Living in a boarding school make me independent．I am confidence to take care of myself，wash the clothes，and clean the rooms，which I never did when at home．The classes here are very interesting and challenged．I’m still feeling a little dissatisfied with some other thing．The living conditions are not as good as it at home and the chance to get in touch with the outside world is limited．Anyway，I’ll get used to living here and hope everything will be more better soon.

Everyone has a dream. We are on the way to achieve it whether the way is smooth or toughly. As Senior 3 student, I have the same dream as my classmates that I can be admitted to an ideal university. In the past three years, I have done everything I can to equip myself with that I have learnt from my teachers. Not only have I enjoyed the pleasure of study but also I have got closer to my dream. On a snowy winter night, a bus with 45 passenger had an accident because the wet road. And all of them were trapping in the bus and what is worse, the bus ran out of gas and it was very cold in it. They could do nothing but to wait for help. A man who lived nearby saw that had happened. He and some villagers succeeded in open the door and helped all of them out of the bus. He took them to his home but offered food and water and even some warm clothes to the children. They spent two days in their home and finally help came. All of them were thankfully for their help.

I can’t swim so I have a strong fear of water. Look back at my childhood, I think that three reasons might explain fear. Firstly, I am not allowed to go near the water when I was a child, as my mother had an unreasonable fear of it. Therefore, I was taught to see to the water as something danger. Secondly, my eyes became bad when I was five. If I took off my glass in the water, I couldn’t see something, and this increased my fear. What’s worse, for a child I once saw a neighbor drowned. Since then I have been more frightening.
