About one year before, we got a lovely cat named Dexter. He enjoys watching my elderly neighbor in her garden. Although he won’t let her to touch him, he always keeps an eye on her.
One afternoon I heard Dexter calling strange. When I reached the door to check on him, his calling stops, so I headed back to kitchen. Just as I did, his calling started again. I stepped outside to find Dexter sit next to my elderly neighbor who had fallen. He didn’t have the strength to get up and shout for help. Dexter didn’t leave her sides until help arrived. With Dexter, she might not have been found in time.

My cousin George and I went on a trip to my uncle last Sunday. We were riding along a hillside then suddenly some big stones were rolled down and knocked us off our bikes. George's legs got seriously injure and so did mine. We couldn't move a bit. Lucky, I saw some farmers ahead. Wave our hands, we cried for help like crazy. On hearing us, they run to the spot as fast as they could. Thanks to their help, we were all sent to a nearby hospital and received medical treatment on time. Although we do not know about their name, we feel they are like our dear big brothers and sisters.

Not only does our parents give us life, but they give us endlessly love and support, and always share our happiness and sorrow. I’m very grateful to my parent who give me so much love and spare no effort to support myself. I still remember once I was seriously ill, and they were so worried and almost keep me company the whole night. Now I’m in Senior 3. Lucky enough, my parents can understand my stressful condition but often encourage me. Therefore, they give me enough personal space, which I appreciate(感激) so much. What I should do now is studying hardly. When I grow up, I will try my best to make my parents live happy life.

Today, my foreign teacher Tim and I went to the People’s park together. We take a taxi and it wasn’t long before we arrived at the park. On seeing the green trees and beautiful flower, Tim couldn’t wait for to take pictures. It was at that moment when we found his camera was missing. He was very worried but searched all over his backpack. Sadly, he just couldn’t find it. Suddenly it struck me that he might have left it in the taxi. So I immediately got touch with the taxi company. About half an hour later, the driver returned a camera. Both of us were gratefully to the driver, and Tim, in particular, insisted on have a photo taken with him. Tim and I enjoyed themselves during the rest of the day.

Nowadays, some students would not like to live in a dormitory. Instead of, they rent houses outside the school. There are advantages for them both. Live in a dormitory can increase friendship and cooperation among classmates, and of course it is safer．However, a dormitory is more like a society, where enables students to learn to get along well with each other，thus preparing the social life later. As for renting houses to live alone, it’s better for your study as you can feel freely in your own room with being interrupted by others. Absorbing in your study，you can have a plenty of time to devote yourself to review your lessons wholeheartedly. But there may appears a few safety problems as you live outside the school. Anyhow as a student, I prefer living in a dormitory.
