In 2014 I was 22 years old and had just come back to Brazil after 14 months in England, holding my Cambridge Proficiency certificate. After nervously a short training course, I began to give class to my 12 students, all of them older than I was. I hard to remain calm in class and they wouldn't find out how unconfident I felt a lot of the time. I was quite , actually, until the end of and the night of the final oral test.
The test was going to start at 7 pm, and at 6:50, I myself in the teachers' bathroom to all the test questions again. I really wanted to learn the by heart so no one would think I was an inexperienced tester. The 4 is, I actually locked myself in the bathroom. I couldn't get out! The bell rang at 7 pm and I could hear the noise in the halls the students went to their rooms. I tried hard to the bathroom door, but failed.
I heard the cleaning lady's voice and asked for help as as I could. However, she wasn't exactly a thoughtful person, and started ;"Diana's locked in the bathroom!"Shame had fallen upon me! the course director, the secretary and some teachers were outside the bathroom trying to get me out, and, ,my students gathered outside too, happily saying things like "Aren't we !No test today !” All I could do was , feeling miserable and utterly stupid. The door finally opened, and my entire was waiting for me outside, naughty smiles on their faces." ! Teacher.” they said," we know you are human too!"
They all passed their test. True to the Brazilian style, we all went out for a beer afterward, and laughed the whole thing off.

A friend of mine met with an accident driving in darkness. His legs were so hurt that he couldn't move. What was the 36 was that he found himself unable to ask for help ------ his mobile phone went out of 37__ as a result of exhausted battery. Nothing could be done but 38__ in cold wilderness. It was 8 hours later that day broke, and then the 39 of rescue.
It is almost 40__ that he could stand the horror in the darkness for so long. Even more surprising was his 41_ ,“First of all I checked up my 42 condition and found myself not in fatal danger. As there was no 43 to call for help, I leaned back in my seat trying my best to keep the wound from 44 . In this way I fell lightly asleep. ”
His story put an end to my regret for the 45 of an exploration adventure that happened last year. A group of young men 46 to explore a mountain cave and got lost. 47_ to find a way out in the dark cave they were frightened and ran anxiously without a sense of 48 . Finally they fell dead in fear and exhaustion. According to the 49 people that found them, the place where they got lost was only about 10 meters away from the 50 of the cave. If they stayed on the spot when they lost their way and tried to 51 themselves, they would probably sense a faint light glimmering ( 闪烁 ) far away.
Don't you think that you can compare it with 52 itself ? When you meet with difficulties in life, you are 53in darkness. Mind you it's unclear yet and you needn't put up struggle 54 . It seems to be a negative attitude, 55 a person who can afford to do so must have foresight as well as great courage in the first place.

Most young people 21 some form of 22 activity. It may be walking, cycling,or swimming, or in winter, skating, or skiing. It may be a game of some kind—football, hockey, golf or tennis. It may be mountaineering. (登山运动) Those who have a23 for climbing high and difficult mountains are often 24 with astonishment. Why are men and women willing to 25 cold and hardship, and to take 26 on high mountains? This astonishment is caused, probably, by the 27 between mountaineering and other forms of activity 28 which men 29 their leisure (空闲的) time. Mountaineering is a sport and not a game. There are no manmade rules, 30 there are for such games as golf and football. There are, 31 rules of a different kind which would be dangerous to ignore, but it is this freedom from manmade rules 32 makes mountaineering 33 to many people. Those who climb mountains are 34 to use their own methods. If we compare mountaineering and other more familiar sports we might think that one big difference is that mountaineering is not a “team game” .We should be mistaken in this. There are , it is true, no “matches” between “teams” of climbers but when climbers are on a rock face 35 by a rope 36 which their lives may depend, there is obviously teamwork. The mountain climber knows that he may have to fight forces that are stronger and more powerful than man. He has to fight the forces of nature. His sport requires high mental and physical 37. A mountain climber continues to improve in skill year after year. A skier is probably past his best by the age of thirty, and most international tennis 38 are in their early twenties. 39 it is not unusual for men of fifty or sixty to climb the highest mountains in the Alps. They may take more time than younger men, but they probably climb with more skills and less waste of effort, and they certainly 40 equal enjoyment.
