A thirsty crow (乌鸦)comes across(偶然遇到) a bottle of water, but the water level is out of its reach. The bird then drops some stones into it and gets the water.

Maybe you are more interested in sports than in history. You probably think you will never be a top student. In fact, anyone can become a better student if he or she wants to. If you can use your time well, you may improve your study without much work. Here’s how:

My father died when I was 5. It was hard on us all. My brother is 8 years older than me, he began to look after my mother and me.
My mother had to do a full-time job. My brother would get me up for school, and cook breakfast for me .When I was eating he would get my clothes and school bags ready and make my bed. People often ask what the weather is like in Australia. The answer is that it changes a lot! Why? Because Australia is such a large country, weather in different parts is different in the country.
The northern parts of Australia are warm to hot all year round because it is closer to the equator (赤道). In the north, summer is also the rainy season.
