Today my father and I drove to visit Li Wei, whom we had been supporting for two years．We set off early in the morning, and after a two-hour drive, we arrived in his home．At that moment, he was working in the garden while his grandpa was sitting in the sun．They were excited to see us and gave us warm welcome．We gave Li Wei a schoolbag and some books as well．Grateful and moved, and he showed us his excellent schoolwork, which impressed us greatly．We were so happy that we didn’t realize it was time to leave．They saw me off at the village entrance and we waved goodbye to them.

Dear Diary,
Here I am in the middle of a city, 350 miles far away from our farmhouse. Do you want to know why we move last week? Dad lost his job, and as Mom explained, “He was lucky to find other one.” His new job meant I had to say goodbye to my classmate, my school or just everything else I love in the world. To make matters bad, now I have to share a room with my younger sister, Maggie. Tomorrow is first day of school. I am awfully tiring, but I know I will never fall sleep.
Good night and remember, you, dear Diary, is my only souvenir from my past life and my only friend.

A man was driving on the road．Suddenly his car stopped．He got out of the car tried to find out the trouble．“It’s the motor．” said the voice behind him．He was surprising and turned around. But he saw only an old horse．“Did you say something?” he asked．“ I said you should check yours motor,” the horse replied．The man rushed to the nearer house．With a very excited voice, he told the farmer had happened．The farmer, therefore, showed no sign of excitement．He explained , “He didn’t know anything about cars．He can only repeat what I often say．”

Tom finished his middle school half a year before and then he worked for a postman in his small town. As he was afraid of dogs, he often had a lot of troubles. One afternoon, he tried to take a post card to a bigger house by bike. When he reached the house and got off from his bike at the gate, at once a large dog came run at him with much noise. Tom quickly threw the card through the gate. With his surprise, the dog didn’t make any noise. It ran fast to a card, picked it up with its mouth, carried it towards the house. Tom thought for a while and said to him, “The dog is a better postman than I am.”
I was angry about the act of dishonesty in the exams. I’m not saying that I’m a good student or I’ve never cheated. I once wrote the answer in my hand for a history test but , unlucky, was caught by my teacher. Because she was one of my most favorites, there were no words to describe how sorry I felt at once. I thought cheat would help me keep my straight A’s. Little did I know that I was hurting not only herself but also my teacher. From this lesson I know teacher want students to succeed by learning on their own and do the best they can, not by cheating.
