I’m Glad I got Sick
Twenty-seven years ago I got sick. The reason I can remember the date so well is that being sick is what me to choose my future wife. She was just a good friend, but because she to my apartment, brought me medicine, and made me breakfast, I thought for the first time “what a super wife she will for someone.”
I took her out to eat for helping me the flu. After that we became even better friends, but still thought of marriage. A few months later I was going to a new job in the Atlanta area, so Cathy helped me boxes to get ready to leave. We a great time that day and had lunch together. Near the end of that day I a few tears in Cathy’s eyes, so I asked what was .
She said, “I don’t know if I can live you, you are my best friend.” I said, “I know, I’ve been thinking the thing.” That day we decided to get married and we have been married ever since. We have had our times, as many others have had, but we are still best friends!
I get to the family unit in my Health class and we talk about …I always tell this story. My students seem to love it because they learn that , sharing and caring about others is all that really in life, and that looks, money and other things are not important.
the way, my wife is 12 years younger than me, and she is beautiful. We have 2 beautiful children, but we still have dates on weekend.
Cathy is the greatest thing that has ever me! She is a fantastic mother, and the best wife a coach could ever have. Thank God I got sick 27 years ago!

Girls are born to imagine, particularly those at the age of seventeen or eighteen. 16 , I was one of them and sometimes I would go to extremes. That was exactly what happened several days ago, causing me great embarrassment.
I was waiting for my train home at the station when a boy 17 at my side. His beautifully-curved face, his fashionable clothing and everything else about him, was so 18 that I just couldn’t help gazing (注视) at him. What was more 19 was that, he was also stealing some 20 at me, which made me blush (脸红) to the ends of my ears! Still, I tried to be calm and 21 that nothing had happened. However, once again when our eyes met, I could hear my heart 22 wildly, with an inner voice yelling, “Oh, my goodness, he is driving me 23 !” Shortly, I lowered my head to 24 his eyes, but my thoroughly red face had revealed (泄露) 25 .
To my pleasant surprise, my 26 came true this time, as the handsome guy was drawing
27 ! “Oh, please! Don’t 28 . Look at me. I am so sweaty and sloppy (多情的). Please don’t 29 my telephone number. You know I will give it to you without 30 , and that is so unladylike!” I was still struggling and trembling when he 31 right in front of me. “Excuse me...” he said with a slight hesitation. His voice was so nice, but I wish I had not 32 it, for in the end, he said: “I am sorry, but could you please give me my 33 back? Yours is over there.” Oh, my God! Nothing could have been more 34 when I handed his bag back to him, as shame almost brought me to tears.
From that, I drew a big 35 : never imagine too much if someone gives you a few glances.

Do you know what kind of things the young people are reading. More and more26 and parents have noticed another kind of pollution, which came from the printed papers27 on streets.
These printed things28 newspapers but have hardly anything to do with29 , you can only find reading materials badly made up these—— some are too strange for anyone to 30 ; others are frightening stories of something still worse. However, many of the young readers are getting interested in such 31 reading, which32 them what they should pay for their breakfast and brings them nightmares(恶梦)and immoral(邪恶的)ideas in return. Homework was left 33 ; daily games lost.
These sellers shout on streets selling their papers well. The writers, publishers and printers, whoever they are, we never know, are 34 their silent money.
The sheep - skinned wolf's story seems to have been forgotten once again. Why not35 this kind of thing. Yes, both teachers and parents have asked each other for more strict control of the young readers. 36 , the more you want to forbid it, the more they want to have a look at it. Sometimes you may even find out several children, driven by the curious natures, 37 one patched paper, which has traveled from hand to hand.
It really does 38 to our society. It has already formed a sort of moral pollution. The39 teachers and parents need more powerful support in their protection of the young generation. At the same time the young readers need more interesting books to help them 40 those ugly papers.
