After John’s first wife died, he gets married again. His second wife was more younger than he was and they often quarreled. John once came home lately after work, his wife said to him that he had waited for two hours. She was too angry that she gave him a push, which made him fall down the stairs so he is old and weak. When Steven, one of John’s neighbor, heard the noise, he was eager to know which was happening. He came John’s front door and knocked. “What’s happened?” he asked. “My coat fell down the stairs,” John answered. When the neighbor said a coat wouldn’t make so many noise, John answered, “Of course it would if I was inside it!”
In fact, the room was not made to be a gift. It designed for the palace of Frederick I. However, the next King of Prussia, Frederick William I, whom the amber room belonged, decided not to keep it. In 1716 he gave them to Peter the Great. And then , the Czar sent him a troop of his best soldiers. So the Amber Room became part of the Czar’s winter palace in St Petersburg. Late, Catherine II had the Amber Room moved to a palace outside St Petersburg when she spent her summers. She told her artists to add more details in it. In 1770 the room was completed the way how she wanted. Almost six hundred candles lit the room, and it’s mirrors and pictures shone like gold. Sad, although the Amber Room was considered one of the wonders of the world, it is now missed.

Some people prefer to living in a city rather than in a country. There are
several reasons. Firstly, a city can provide more opportunity to people who want
to realize their dreams. Secondly, the city life, that offers people tall buildings,
huge departments and another facilities, attracted millions of people. Thirdly,
leading a city life means living in comfort. Under the help of buses and subways,
people find life there much more easier. That is why more and more people choose
to live in the city.
