I’d like tell you something about your life in this boarding schoo1．I stay in a dormitory with three other girls，all of them are kind and nice．We get on well to others and have become good friends．Living in a boarding school make me independent．I am confidence to take care of myself，wash the clothes，and clean the rooms，which I never did when at home．The classes here are very interesting and challenged．I’m still feeling a little dissatisfied with some other thing．The living conditions are not as good as it at home and the chance to get in touch with the outside world is limited．Anyway，I’ll get used to living here and hope everything will be more better soon.

My winter break was really fun or I did a lot of things that I wanted to doing. On the
first weekend, I went snowboarding with my friend, Ian. After that there was time to
celebrate Christmas. I went to my aunt’s house celebrate Christmas Eve. I got a lot of
present that I liked a lot. Two days later, my family took the trip to Mexico. We travelled
around Mexico and buy a lot of souvenirs. Then I came back home so that I could go to
some wonderfully parties with my friends. I guess that weekend was most active than
others because of it was New Year’s weekend.

I had a interesting dream last night. I dreamed that I took part in a race. At first, I could
not to run very fast and fell behind. So I didn’t lose heart and kept running. All the students
on the playground cheer me on, “Come on! ’’ I was so encouraged that I ran faster and fast
till I caught up all the other runners. I felt as if flying like a superman. In the end , I got to
the finished line first. I won the race. I felt very proudly of myself. Many of my classmate
threw me up into the air. Just at that time I woke up and found me still in bed!

Last weekend we went mountain-climbing. Even the heavy rain in the morning could not prevent us go. Setting off very early, we went along an extreme narrow road, all in high spirits. A famous scientist was in his way to other lecture when his chauffeur (司机) offered an idea. “Hey, boss, I’ve heard your speech many time. I bet I could deliver it and give you this night off.” “Sound great,” said the scientist. When they got to lecture hall, the scientist put up the chauffeur’s hat and settled in the back row. And then the chauffeur began to deliver the speech. Afterwards he asked if there were some questions. “Yes,” said a professor. Then he asked a high technical question. Dear teacher,
Let me tell you why I have got so many deductions (扣分) for the last four weeks. Sometimes I got up lately. In order not to be late for class, I did everything in hurry. So I often forgot to put all my roommates’ shoes under their bed. As a rule, we should do a general cleaning in Monday afternoon, but I don’t know. Of course I did not go back to the room to do some cleaning. What a shame! What’s the worse, nobody came to help me when I in trouble. I think they are too selfish.
By the way, many of us are always saying the dormitory administrator (寝管员) is too strict with us. As a matter of fact, I have never met such a cruel person. But maybe, she is right. I promise that I would do well than before in the future.
