How often does your child pick up a book, a magazine, and other printed materials simply for the pleasure of read? Experts say a young person’s interest in independent reading seem to be important to long-term success.
However, not all children will natural love reading. So what should parents do? First, understanding independent reading is not guided or sharing reading. You may be present in the room with your child, but will not be engaged to reading the book for your child. Instead, the child should pick up a book on his or her own, if he or she can read all the words or not. Then, set a good example for your child by becoming an independent reader yourself. If possibly, build your child’s personal library.

Once upon a time there was a boy who fond of reading. However, he was very poor to buy any books. That was the reason that he had to borrow books from a rich man who owned a lot of books. The boy knew clearly that he has to finish reading the books he had borrowed them and return them to the owner as soon as p
ossible. A rich man, who was ready to lend any of his book to the boy, read few of his own books. With time going on, the boy read a lots but finally became a famous writer in his time. As is known to all that our students of today have to fix our attention on our lessons, so we know few
of society. A holiday is the best time and the best chance to make up for that. Take a part-time job is a
good form of social practice. That we have learned in books and in class can’t have same important
effect on us as what we have learned through personal practice. In social practice, we can surely make
a progress in both knowledge or practical ability. Beside, when we take a part-time job, we may got
paid more or less to help our family. Thus, I will say a senior school student should take a part-time
job in his/her holiday, if possible.

Dear Mum,
I’m considering work in Africa next year when I graduate. I will teach the English
in a village school in Zimbabwe, which is the southern part of Africa. There many adults
received few education when they were young but they want our kids to be well-educated.
There I won’t get paid very much and I don’t mind. I’m not interesting in being rich.
I just want to do something what will help people who are not so luckily as me. When I
come home again, I’m going to get a job as a teacher. Whatever I do, I wanted a job where
I can work with kids.

Last Saturday the students of our class made a bike trip of a
small town .We set off earlier in the morning.
After getting to the town, we had visited some places of interest. At noon,
we had picnic near the town. Everybody was attracted by the beautifully scenery
and we took a lot of picture there. In the afternoon, some of us went fishing,
some rowed boats on the water, but others flew kites.
We both had a wonderful time! It was a pleasant trip for us,
during which the boys were offered the girls a lot of help.
We have learned to help, understand and sharing with others.
In a word, we have got quite a lot from it.
