I’m a senior 3 student. The college entrance exams are in the way and everyone around us is trying their best to help me. At school, all the teachers work very hardly, encouraging us to build up our confidence. Wherever we meet with difficulties, they are ready to come to our help. Meanwhile, our school also did a lot for us. For example, the library stays open up in the evenings. At home, we are also taken well care of and our parents often tell us to have good rest. I’m very grateful to the efforts of our parents and teachers. I’m determining to try my best to prepare for the exams.

Today is Sunday. I didn't get up early as usually. In themorning after I finished my home-work, I do some washing.Then I telephoned one of my classmate and invited himto see a film. And unfortunately, when we got to the cinemaat 3:00 p.m. we found all the tickets had sold out.So we went to our school and played the football.After that, when we were about to go home, we saw ourEnglish teacher, Mr. Wang, came into the school gate. He told us we had made many progress in English this term. He also suggested that we should read more and wrote more.We promised that we would take his advices.
My father is now in his late forty but he looks young for his age. He is very strict with me, especial in my studies. Besides, I know he loves me deeply in his heart. Once I had failed to do well in my math exam, I was afraid that it would make my father angry and disappointing. On contrary, he said I had tried my best and offered him a few words of encouragement. He told me that there is no need to feel bad about one and two failures and the most important thing is to learn anything from failure and never give up. Today is Father’s Day and I want to say thank you for my father.

The food in one area can be easy told from that in another. For example, Shanghai food, a little bit sweet, differ from Sichuan food that is rather hot. However, every kind of the Chinese food is worth trying because each has a delicious taste and good for health. Since the restaurant in China usually serves special dish of different areas, you can enjoy kinds of Chinese foods whenever you are. I was surprising to receive your letter a few days ago. Since I came to the new school, I had planned to write to you. Therefore, the busy life of the school spared me no time. I am an exchange student from China. Yesterday, I went to your cinema to see a film. The film was very well, but I did not enjoy it because there were some problem in the cinema.
First, the film was delayed as there were so much advertisements at the beginning. It was rather annoyed. Second, the sound of the film was too loud that I could hardly bear. The EXIT signs could not be seen clearly, which presented potential safety hazards. If something terribly should happen, it will be difficult for people to get out quickly.
As a visitor to your city, I’m disappointed with my experience in your cinema. I am writing a letter in the hope that you can consider about these problems and make more improvements.
