The water we drink and use was running short. We all have to learn how to stop wasted water. One
of the step that we should take is to find ways of reusing them. Today in the most large cities, fresh water
is used only once and then it runs in a waste system. But it is possibly to pipe the used water to a purifying factory, when the used water can be treated with chemical materials by the workers so that it can be reused. But even if every large city purified and reused it’s water, we still would have enough water.

One day, I was cooking in the kitchen while the telephone rang. I went to answer it immediate. It was my good friend, Lisa. When we are talking on the phone, the fire alarm sounded. I ran back to a kitchen. The room was full of smoke but the beef was badly burnt. I was quickly turned off the gas, opened all the window, and then went out the house. To my surprise, two fire engines were outside my house. I was rather worrying. I told the firemen that it was her careless cooking that caused the heavy smoke.

Our school held an English speech contest each year. Han Meimei won the first prize in last year. Everyone was sure that she was going to the champion again this year. I’m going to study in the senior middle school on September. I can live either at school and at home. But I can't decide because both has advantages and disadvantages. At home, I have my own room, but I can have a good sleep. However, I have to share one room with 5 -6 student at school Maybe I can't sleep good. It’s a problem. Although I can have better food at home, I enjoy eat with my classmates. I think it’s a great fun and I can make more friends. If I live at home, I’ll have ride to school. A young man called low-Carbon Brother become a hit on the Internet in 2011. He suggests to living a low-carbon life, which means using less energy in our daily life so that we can help reducing carbon dioxide in the air. For example, she always picks up some waste paper on the street or uses the blank side to write something. While he is watching TV, he always turns up the screen brightness to the minimum and turns off the light. Therefore, he goes to work by bike instead of driving. Some people think what he is doing is just a show. No one can live such a simply life with so many modern invention around us. As far as I am concerned, I am strongly in support his idea and his behavior. Although what he is doing has no huge effect on global warming, but he at least can enjoy a healthy life.
