Everyone has a dream．We are on the way to achieve it whether the way is smooth or toughly．As Senior 3 student, I have the same dream as my classmates that I can be admitted to an ideal university．In the past three years, I have done everything I can to equip myself with that I have learnt from my teachers．Not only have I enjoyed the pleasure of study but also I have got closer to my dream．Anxious and pressure did discourage from me at times．Besides, with the encouragement of my teachers and classmates, I think I’ll make it．

I’m glad to know what you have been studying Chinese in an university in Beijing for about one month. Just as you have found, Chinese differ from English greatly. That is because many people, especially the foreigners, have great difficulty in learning Chinese.
However, practice makes perfect. If you can read and write Chinese as many as you can, you have a good command of it. In addition, you should look for more opportunities to communicate with the native people to get familiar to different accents as well as our cultures, which will help you a lot.

As is known to all that we students of today have to fix our attention on our lessons, so we know few of society. A holiday is the best time and the best chance to make up for that. Take a part-time job is a good form of social practice. That we have learned in books and in class can’t have the same important effect us as what we have learned through personal practice. I’m very glad to hear from you. In your last letter you ask about the post-80s in China. Actually I am the boy who belongs to this group. Comparing with our parents, life for us is getting much hard. The job market is tough and the house is expensively to afford. Now many girls prefer to marry with a man who owns a house and a car. Therefore, I don’t think love built on house and cars is true love, and I doubt how long it will last.
As a matter of fact, though situations are tough today, a lot of we post-80s are making great efforts live a good life. I believe we will have a nice future.
