If you live in Shanghai or Bejing, you may see some orange bicycles on streets these  days.

These orange bikes are from a company called Mobike. You can order a bike through its app on your phone. When you find the bike, you just scan the QR code(扫二维码)so you can use it.You don't need to return the bike to a station, just park it somewhere.

China was known as"the kingdom of bicycles"around 30years ago. But lately more people choose to drive cars and catch the subway, fewer people choose to ride bicycles. Now,bike rental(租赁)services like Mobike are bringing biking back to people's lives. Now,online rental services make biking much more fashionable(时髦的),but it's still not easy to ride bikes in Chinese cities.Cars usually take up bicycle lanes(车道).Bikers have to ride next to cars in car lanes, which can be very dangerous. This is why Beijing will build over 3,200km of new bike lanes.Drivers who park on bike lanes will be punished.Traffic signs will be put on roads to better protect bikers.

Some teenagers think that newspapers are boring and only for adults. But that’s not true. There are many interesting stories in the paper. You just need to make clear what you are looking at. “I spend about half an hour reading newspapers every day,” said 15-year-old Gao Ming from Beijing.“I’m interested in things happening at school.” School news is just one kind of news story in newspapers. There’s also world news: from international (国际的)problems to pop stars.

When we read them, we learn more about the facts, not the writers’ ideas.
Opinion writing---opinion writing is usually about something happening right now. But it isn’t just facts. Here writers add their own opinions to the news. Writers pick only the facts that help back their ideas. They make readers believe that they are telling the truth(真相). This is usually the kind of story that gets people thinking. Go to“Speak Out”on Page Two for an example of opinion writing in Teenagers.
Advertisement---Don’t get happy too early when you read them. Those sweet words and lovely pictures are just ways to get us interested in their products(产品)! People have to pay to put advertisements in newspapers!

As a child, I was really afraid of the dark and of getting lost. These fears were very real and caused me some uncomfortable moments.
Maybe it was the strange way things looked and sounded in my own room at night that scared (使惊恐) me so much. There was never complete darkness, but always a streetlight or passing car lights, which made clothes on the back of a chair take on the shape of a wild animal. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the curtains (窗帘) seem to move when there was no wind. A very low sound in the floor would seem a hundred times louder than in the day. My imagination would run wild, and my heart would beat fast. I would lie very still so that the “enemy” would not discover me.
Another of my childhood fears was that I would get lost, especially on the way home from school. Every morning I got on the school bus right near my home. That was no problem. After school, though, when all the buses were lined up along the street, I was afraid that I would get in the wrong one and be taken to some other strange places. On school or family trips to a park or a museum, I wouldn’t let the leaders out of my sight.
Perhaps one of the worst fears of all I had as a child was that of not being liked or accepted by others. Being popular was so important to me then, and the fear of not being liked was a serious one.
One of the processes (过程) about growing up is being able to realize and overcome our fears. Understanding the things that scared us as children helps us achieve greater success later in life.
